I think they are just that good. They lost in 4 sets to Sacred Heart earlier in the season. They're a solid team.

From seeing both teams play, I would assume this should be a pretty close and exciting match. Henry Clay is solid all the way around. St. Henry is small, but has smart hitters. It will be interesting to see if the size of Henry Clay will overwhelm the cru and if the defense can hold their own. I predict Henry Clay wins 3-1.

I think all players need to be able to effectively and correctly line judge. There is no reason for them not to. If they aren't paying attention, reprimand them and correct it for the next time. It's up to the coaches to make sure their line judges do their job.

Officials get paid $105 for frosh/jv/varsity3of5 They don't split it. I believe the pay for line judges during regionals is $20 per match.

I guess you COULD say "Big 4", though. Because if Scott draws Henry Clay, they'll be done. Could Scott get a cake walk to the semis 2 years in a row? Statistics and odds say no.

There is no way for her to be anything other than a freshman coach there. JV and varsity coaches are sisters. Why do you think no one stays....

I'm not saying Ryle WILL turn the corner or that they are good. I'm just saying Scott shouldn't be boasting about their record with a soft schedule. NDA is very close to the Louisville powers, but it's now or never for them. Sacred Heart only loses Zweibel and Assumption and Mercy have a lot of young talent. The pandas have to find a way to get passed Assumption this year or it's not going to happen for a while.

#1 : I hate the phrase "Lady Eagles" #2 : that's not a good measuring stick. That's a cupcake of a tournament. If Scott wants to be respected as a program, they need to schedule teams that are respected and beat teams that are respected. Their only good win to date is Ryle and if those teams played again, I don't see Scott winning. If Scott beats any team down at Dunbar besides Creek, Boone or Cooper, I will be shocked. Sorry, but I just don't think they are that great of a team. If they beat a team like Henry Clay, Dunbar or Ryle again, I will stop doubting them.

I guess the question is will they be playing together before post-season comes around? You could go 0-35 for the regular season and still win the state championship. Maybe they will turn things around. Who knows.

From an outsider's perspective, it seems like a team chemistry issue, not a talent issue. Potential is there, they just gotta play together.

For SHA to win it all, Paige is going to have to take a lot of good swings. Fatigue may become a factor. I see AHS beating NDA in 3 in the semis and in 2 over SHA in the finals.

Speaking of "down" programs, Cooper lost 3-1 to Conner. 25-11 first set. There is way too much talent on that team to not be winning games. Someone please explain what went wrong for Cooper.

Same team. Same players. I believe they were just given too much hype after beating a not-so-solid St. Henry team. Beechwood is a good team but not perfect. Boone seems to be an underrated team this season. As far as the NCC game goes, Rachel McDonald and Mikah Freppon must have just played out of their minds good against them.

I don't know if CCH will beat HHS. I would put that game into an "unknown" category. I would expect HHS to beat Boone, Grant and Dixie though. CCH/HHS could very easily go either way

Planning for more students was what I meant. Enrollment did go up and should continue with the addition of many new neighborhoods (plus a new middle school) near the school. They probably expect to reach the minimum 755 by 2018. That's just my assumption. I could be wrong. But if not enrollment, then what?

I'm not talking about the past 8 years, I'm talking about this year. Every time someone says "HHS isn't good", all of you jump all over them and start talking about "History". In past seasons, yes HHS was good. I'm not doubting the history, I'm doubting the ability of this year's squad. That is all.

That's typical Highlands fans at work.... Always about what they DID and not what they're doing. The reality is they are about to have a tough season.

I would assume because enrollment went up. Cooper just added on to the school, so they could support an influx in students. It must have been planned for a while.
