Scott won it all beating Boone co, oldham co, Simon Kenton, southwestern and Holy cross . Scott still having problems with their serving, giving up too many points. Their back row needs to talk to each other and set better plays for one other, but when they get behind they seem to pull it together and get the job done. Sometimes it's not pretty, but they come through.

Agree the Lady Eagles have a ways to go. Need to get more consistent from one game to the next. The tornament in Ohio should test them appropriately.

Anything going on at Beechwood? Injury? Nice start to season but since have lost to NCC and Boone County?

Same team. Same players. I believe they were just given too much hype after beating a not-so-solid St. Henry team. Beechwood is a good team but not perfect. Boone seems to be an underrated team this season. As far as the NCC game goes, Rachel McDonald and Mikah Freppon must have just played out of their minds good against them.

Conner took third game 31-29 with no subs left. Conner ended up finishing third after a losses to Oldham Co in pool play and Boone during bracket play. Not a bad showing for the Lady Cougars.

I think Beechwoods very solid, but you will be sorely disappointed if your looking for a ton of flash. Schuchanek at OH and Popova at Middle are their big hitters, but like most hs volleyball, very few teams have an effective block to challenge them so they do well. The rest of the team is fundamentally pretty decent in passing and Ogle does a better than average job of distributing the ball. They're young too, which means they should be good for several years.
