Don't blame your OC he did a fine job and so did every Boyle Player.

Of course it feels good but I'd love to know why you trashed LC two weeks ago? You said this was the weakest team you've ever seen @ LexCath but yet we were the only team to beat Boyle County. You ranked Catholic low every week despite playing a tougher schedule than most in 4A, and they won the head to head battle against Boyle. So yes it feels good but you know you were flat out wrong on your statement. Go ahead and admit it.

Nobody wants a moral victory but there wasn't any losers tonight. I give credit when it's due and Boyle County is #1 on my list. The improvement talk before the game I thought the fans were just saying that, but man they were better. I admired the fight and the adjustments that they made. I can't believe the efficiency they had in their short and vertical passing game. I can't believe that a game like that was played for the right to advance to the next round, because it felt like a championship final game. I witnessed greatness tonight by Boyle County.

It's there turn to host because LC hosted FTH last season

If CovCath wins against FTH would they host the Boyle/LC winner on Friday or Saturday ?

It's not that Boyle fans are bad it's the rocks in the water jugs! Every first down, touchdown, or hard hit........ But I guess you guys love it. Lol

I will go on record and say that the winner of this game has a shot at beating the Cov Cath/ FTH winner. I will also say that, it can only happen if these two teams don't bust each other up. You can't expect to go up there without all of your guys healthy and get the W. I made a bet already with a Boyle fan that no matter what I will be up at that game. I'm crossing my fingers now, because I just can't be around all of that black & gold. Just pray for me....... Lol

Jack do you really think the refs were one sided. I have seen that game so many times and they missed calls on both sides. And the penalty calls and yardage was almost identical.

I have read and heard from Boyle fans that they have improved in all three phases of the game. That may be true. So does this mean that you are now satisfied with the offense? Because after the Catholic loss I thought you guys let the OC have it by getting on his play calling and scheme. I just hope that he is not the easy way out if you fall short because you guys at the moment are praising the entire team.

Wow. Nothing like a rivalry game to bring out the passion. Both teams have been dominant since playing each other. No real worries because the competition was expected to lose those games. I can't wait to see what new wrinkles each team shows this Friday. My only worry is with both teams being front runners for over a month now who can respond after a little adversity. Great atmosphere, great teams, I expect a great game.......

This is an incredible student, player, and human being. His hard work has been recognized by all of us @ LexCath, but I'm thrilled to know that he will be playing at the next level. Way to go Captain Cam Bailey

Don't try to compliment us now. I can't wait to hear what excuse you come up with next Friday. "Weakest" team you've seen from Lexington Catholic? Make sure you're in attendance. I don't want you reading about in the newspaper or hearing it on your radio, get to this game!! If you get there let me know I'll take care of admission.

Strength of schedule is a must for any team looking to make a run in the postseason. It's even more important if you have a cupcake district. I think it gives the players and coaches confidence after a tough schedule.

What I am saying is it not a big deal if 7/11 of the starters stayed in the game or not, the outcome was decided before Boyle pulled their starters. Nothing wrong with defending your coach and program but asking someone to pull up footage to verify how many starters were out there is a bit of "reach". I think we all can respect each others programs so yes Russell, Boyle and every program deserves respect. I can apologize for everyone if you feel they were attacking the coach or Russell. Good luck

I'm rooting for Boyle County. I want our guys to play the better team. Because if you want to be the best you have to play and beat the best. Boyle is better and they will win. Just stay healthy please, I want all teams as healthy as possible......

First team ran eleven plays last week to get the running clock. No way they repeat that but I do think Catholic wins going away

I just got a text saying that the Boyle County vs Knox game will be on Knox home field. The condition of the field was so bad that they played their 1st round game @ Union. I think I know why, but does anyone really want Boyle or Knox to play on a messed up field with this much at stake?
