Cameron Bailey, who plays Center for Lexington Catholic High School has received a football scholarship offer to play at West Virginia State. Congratulations to a very deserving hard working young man!

Congrats young man. Hard work paid off. Curious to know where Chase Boling, Dominick Castlen and Reese Ryan will end up signing.

Congrats!!! He may be playing next to a Northern Kentucky kid. Justin Gangwish 6'5" 270lb OL goes for his official visit in a few weeks to West Virginia State.

What school is he from. I apologize I Don't know the name. Thanks

Awesome! Cam's a great kid and a really good lineman. I'm sure this will only be the first offer. Personally I think he would fantastic at the FCS level but I do think he can play at the D-1 FBS level.

Does he have any other offers besides this and the UofL preferred walk-on?

Covington Holy Cross. They weren't good at all this year but he had a good season and has a lot of great tools.

I think he would be a great FCS linemen ( EKU, Dayton ), perhaps Western KY or MAC linemen as well. I'm not knocking him down, but SEC, ACC or Big10 is a bit stretch.

Thank you. Any time a student- athlete get a chance to play at the next level, It's awesome to hear. Congrats to him.

Congrats to Mr. Bailey!

I agree that Cameron is probably better suited at the FCS Level (EKU, Murray State, etc.). Maybe WKU, Ohio, Akron. I am not aware of any other offers at this time but do know that Murray State and WKU have been keeping in contact. Also, want to congratulate Justin. It is always good to hear any OL or DL get recognition they deserve.

This is an incredible student, player, and human being. His hard work has been recognized by all of us @ LexCath, but I'm thrilled to know that he will be playing at the next level. Way to go Captain Cam Bailey

Congratulations to Mr. Bailey and his family on this honor.

I know WVSU recently offered Jalen Washington and Jalen Acree of Frankfort High School. It sounds like WVSU is really hitting Kentucky hard!
