Boyle County 45 Russell County 22

Featured Replies

Final.

Boyle was up 45-6 to start the third quarter. JV finished the game.

Win and advance! Didn't get to make it to the game last night as I had to take my wife to the emergency room. After 7 1/2 hours and a drained bank account I am back home at 4:00 in the morning. Hope there where no injuries tonight!

I hope she gets well soon

There was 1 injury last night for the Rebels. I think he will be ok but he is hurting really badly.

As PP said earlier it was a running clock with 4 mins to go in the 2nd quarter. Boyle stopped trying to score then and took a knee twice deep in Russell Co territory before half. Boyle's defense played the first series after halftime then the JV's and freshmen played out the rest of the game both ways. The Russell C. coach kept his starters in for the remainder of the game. Why wouldn't at least let your reserves play some in the last game of the season? Maybe his job is on the line and he was trying to save face with his varsity scoring against Boyle's freshmen.

Absolutely not true on any of the things said about Russell County.

Why sooo serious? Take the loss and move on. You're making Russell co. Sound whiney.

Why the need to tell outright lies to try and put someone down or make yourself look good??? Never let the TRUTH get in the way of a telling a story.

Call me Whiney all you want cause I gladly take a loss and everything that goes with it, EXCEPT absolute distortion of the truth by a winner that needs to add untruths to his bragging.

I'm not telling a story however you need to move on. One thing I learned a long time ago, let the winners gloat and let the losers float. It is best for both teams.

I listened to the game on the radio and the guys on the radio made it a point to say that the Russell County starters were still in the game every time they took possession of the ball. As they moved the ball down the field the announcers made it a point to say the Russell County offensive starters were going against the Boyle County JV defense.

Everything Country said is how I heard it on the live broadcast.

Who cares? This isn't week 2. Russell had nothing left to play for. Can't blame them for letting the seniors play. Even more important if they have young starters.

Doesn't bother me any. Just don't act like it didn't take place is all I am saying. Too many people said it did.

Sometimes so called football etiquette is stupid
