I thought 4A was very weak with the exception of Johnson Central. The last 2 weeks has made me think differently. JC does not stand alone in the Class. Great thread topic by the way!

I was on the field Sunday....fabulous shape. Should it rain it can handle lots of precip. Last year in the Ft Harrod Bowl Boyle vs North Hardin, there was bunches of rain for game 1 of 2. The field held up well for both games.

I would say some of both, but more so on 40 yd, vert, etc. Plus height/weight. In my opinion the more tackles your safety has the worse your defense as a whole is.

and I would pick Scott County over Boyle as well. And what computer rankings are these?

I get moving Boyle to #2...kinda. So was Corbin dropping to #3 the result of undefeated Casey playing such a miserably weak schedule? I for one have been tough on Casey, but apparently there is more to this squad then I thought. I mean Corbin has beaten some really good teams and lost to a great team. For Casey to be in the game in the 4th quarter is pretty good I think. So if Mercer plays Boyle tough for 3 quarters would Boyle drop as well?

Schedule light. Make it a JV game as quickly as possible. Rest starters ASAP. A injury on an indifferent non-district game would be awful.

Lanter has thrown 3 INT's on the year. Gillis has 5. Quite frankly, Boyle will throw vs Mercer, but they probably wont need to. The Rebels only attempted 11 passes last week vs Western Hills. I will take Reese Smith.

Hoping Boyle comes out quick and takes care of business from the start. I would like this to become a JV game ASAP.

IMO, Waggener should rest as many guys possible if they have any chance at all to get some playoff wins.

Great recap on 3A...job well done. Personally I think Boyle only moves up if either Belfry or Corbin lose next week, but your points are valid.

Region 2. What percentage chance would anyone put that every team in District 4 (Boyle, Lex Cath, West Hills, and Garrard) defeats every team in District 5 (Fleming, Russell, Bath, West Carter) in the 1st Round? I think all in Dist 4 are favored except Garrard and the Golden Lions would certainly be in the game at the end.
