Butler is very impressive looking. Size and speed.

The DeSales back that transferred is not eligible to play. I think Butler has the motivation factor this year after losing by 1 last year. I hope DeSales doesn't come out with a hangover from Friday's game against X. I expect this to be another great game and wouldn't be surprised to see Butler win it.

Let's not get carried away. It's one game. It was a perfect storm last night. I was super impressed how the Colts answered after giving up the lead late. The OL which was our biggest question mark coming in, I think did a good job overall. They were blowing X off the ball late in the game. Our strength coming in was the DL. They didn't disappoint. They play fast, and physical. They are going to be a problem for a lot of teams to handle this year. We just have to get the secondary squared away. If we can do that, this can be a special defense. I know X didn't have their QB. But C'mon! Your a school of 1400 boys. Your second string should be about as good as most teams in the state's first guy. It was a nice win last night, but I think you could have inserted Mayfield, or CAL in DeSales place last night, and got the same result. There is a lot of talent in the south end of Louisville. We just have to keep getting our fair share. Now we have Butler this week. Hoping we don't have a hangover. I think Butler could be the 2nd best team in 6A

Is there any truth that the St X QB is out for at least 10 weeks? Hate to hear that for the kid. Is he a senior?

From my understanding. He was a academic casualty at DeSales. So I don't think he'll be eligible to play at Butler this season.

Since when did a 28 point win not count as a blowout? And LCA is not on CAL's level defensively.

Yeah. WV got totally screwed with the cross bracketing. I know Glasgow was happy, not to have to see CAL, or DeSales..

This team is loaded for next year.

The players didn't help WV any. Haven't seen any of those posters that all but guaranteed it would be a dogfight, and much closer game. I tried to tell them, WV might be getting better, but they aren't ready to compete with the big boys of 2A just yet.

Yeah. Get there early. Our group will start setting our tailgate up as soon as school is over and it clears out.

This is a different CAL team than it was back in Oct. It's not just Carr, they were missing a few others that night. From what I understand they were at full strength last night, and it showed.

I said all week WV could not hang with CAL. We knew we would see them again.

I'm pulling for our brothers in faith. Long trip down to Glasgow, I'm sure they are glad to not see DeSales again. Nice stadium, no visiting bleachers. Nice folks all around. They have always treated our boys well, and have handled their losses with class. Just enjoy the football atmosphere down there, and good luck NCC!

While I would love to see WV win this game, I just don't see it. I think CAL wins easily.

Again. I like VanCleave. He deserves every good thing that happens to him. I think he is a game changing player. But I still say Wright. Anyways, good luck to all the players, hoping for no injuries, and all teams can play at full strength. Safe travels for those teams that are traveling across the state, and first one to five wins it.

Not a fair comparison, simply because Wright has played out of position all year.

Yes, the field is at the school. Very nice facilities. yes their QB is back, he's been back for two weeks.

I like VanCleave too! I think he's a special player. I hope we get to watch him on Saturday's. But if i'm a recruiter, and i have one offer left, and it was between the two, i'd offer Wright.
