Final

With a little trouble with penalties on their first drive which led to a punt, DeSales cruised past a fine Washington County team tonight. With starting QB Aaron Phaat again out, backup A.Johnson did a fine job in his 2nd consecutive start. Again, the Colts Defense pitched another shut out, their 5th in their last 7 games. The competition takes a much larger test next Friday with cross town rival CAL coming into Paul B. Cox Stadium. This will be a rematch of these Titans back in early October with the Colts taking game 1 by a score of 21-3. Don't know if the weather is going to be warmer next week, but I suspect it's going to be a real "Barnburner" on the field !

Nicely done, DeSales!

After seeing the butler win, Desales must be REALLY good.

The Butler win was 2nd half comeback that could gone either way. ..Our coaches have done a very good job of making halftime adjustments.

Rookie - having seen Butler in person twice, I kept thinking to myself that beating them was a HUGE win. Butler just doesn't have the name recognition to turn people's heads as a quality win. But with back-to-back victories over Ryle and Male, I think people definitely see it now. And, to be quite honest, DeSales is a MUCH better football team now than they were at that point in the season.

Then the Colts have a real good shot at a trip to Kroger field. They will have no problem with Cal. Now if Mayfield can get past OC, and I think we will, hopefully your trip to War Memorial will end your run, if not I'll be pulling for the Colts to dismantle the Ads.

This is a different CAL team than it was back in Oct. It's not just Carr, they were missing a few others that night. From what I understand they were at full strength last night, and it showed.

I've got all the respect due to CAL....They are Healthy(all of their players are back) , Wealthy(stocked with talent) and Wise(returning State Champs). So the Colts better bring their A game. Can't wait til Friday !

Won't matter.
