The Bearcats (9-2) blanked Shawnee, 72-0, for their seventh shutout on the season. The defending champs (9-2) cruised past Carroll County, 49-6 in their 1st Round game. This is a match-up of two of the top three scoring defenses in 2A.

While I would love to see WV win this game, I just don't see it. I think CAL wins easily.

CAL should win big.

I would like to see Walton on top but don't think it's going to happen. I do think they will keep it close.

I usually type with my left hand, had surgery yesterday on that hand, typing with right hand and pushed wrong key, CAL Wins easily.

I look forward to seeing this game with the defending State Champions coming to the Bearcat Den. I am going with the Bearcats!

I think i may head down to see this one....

I think that CAL wins but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s close. Walton is a good football team. Definitely pulling for the Bearcats.

I think Walton’s lack of a good passing game is gonna hurt them in this game. CAL will be able to limit the run game and force Walton into an uncomfortable position.

CAL- 28

Walton- 17

I'll not predict a winner of this game, but what I will predict is that no team will win easily. Look for this to be a battle no matter who wins. Should be a good one!

I agree

Going to be a battle.

I understand Walton has several players suspended from the football team that will not be able to play Friday night.

I don't know all the details and we don't need any details on why anyone is suspended, just if anyone is suspended.

Anyone?

Heard some are suspended

Someone just told me several athletes at Walton-Verona have been suspended for six weeks including Walton's starting QB, RB, and one WR.

Was it worth it guys?
