Hellcats

1. Harlan Co. @ Mad South 2. CAL @ Mayfield 3. Johnson Central @Wayne Co. 4. Pikeville@ Raceland The rest are blowouts.

Another monster game in the bluegrass. Both teams are solid,so this one will come down to breaks: Penalties and turnovers. With all things equal I give the Cardinals an edge at home 31-24.

I feel like I'm listening to the edit version.

If this were at Corbin I would go with the hounds, but it's not so Jackets by 17. Return of the King!

I'm suspect of this. I could see some districts opt out because of $$$$.

I actually like the "and 1" game for teams that don't make playoffs.

Does Trinity put their visitors in front of the Home fans? I hate when schools do that. Should be a Khsaa rule in place. Oh yeah as far as the thread goes this seems like simple game administration. Silly to whine about it.

Heaven forbid.

Most of those sports have "skunk" rules where they all just quit once the score gets so high. Football and Basketball at least finish the game.

I don't expect this thread to get much traffic. :lol2:

The rest need to change in all honesty. District tournaments are stupid. Just jump into the region.

Not a problem at North Carolina. :lol2:

Someone needs to call Somerset, Bracken County, Paducah Tighlman, Washington County, Bullitt Central, and Floyd Central and tell them they are ruining high school football since they didn't score last night. :lol2:

Great job Falcons.

Long way from Pond Creek. Central is a very unique place to play. That cold wind that comes off the river is something else. I thought the Pirates were going to have problems anyway, but without Wellman they are in trouble. Jackets by 7 at home.

Thanks for finding and posting !!!

Houseboats in the pic brings up another problem. Houseboats are not charged at the same tax rates as runabouts and fishing boats. Millions of dollars being lost. Nice write up In the LHL last week.

Were these guys on the sideline for the Moore game?

Shot two before this gets closed: Why aren’t we searching for revenue before we try to cut pensions for state workers? Plenty of ways to make money: legalize marijuana, boats, tracks, and wet counties.

There are huge gaps in our database on who should and should not buy guns. I have joined the side that says fix that before ban anything.

Is this the first time all season Rock has done something honorable in the pregame ?

Hell of trophy these teams are getting: a game where there is little chance to win and as some believe a great chance of being injured. Maybe we should be applauding these teams for having the heart and courage to play in these first round games. Like another poster said if this is an opportunity for a team to get an extra week of practice and play one more game. Maybe the last they play as a senior. It's an opportunity for teams who have taken care of business in the season to rest players, try new things, and get the young guys some playing time (Jv season ends the last week of the season, and they practice too). To those that complain: Ignore the first week. UK is now going head to head on Friday night with KY scholastic sports. Turn on the basketball game of the Cats demolishing some goat....wait ....

Seeing it in my school right now. People (young and old) aren't going into the teaching profession. The pension system was one of the perks that motivated folks to choose teaching. I imagine law enforcement and other civil careers will suffer too.

Didn't a Trump adminstration agency come out this week with a report that said humans are causing climate change?

Has anybody else been charged with “conspiracy against America?”
