Hamilton is there best player, he scored 20 against the Cru in the first meeting. I never did hear what happened to Townsend, he was a 2 year starter and has not been on the team since the LIT. Goetz has had a nice career, I have enjoyed watching him play.

I totally agree with your statement. It was not meant to be a negative slight towards anyone. My son chose a smaller setting, it was 100% the right decision for him. My view was from a basketball fan, I enjoyed what Coach Ruthsatz has built over the last 5 years. I have several friends whose kids play for CCH, but I am as from a Cov Cath guy as there is.

If CCH was a stock, I would be buying. Coach Ruthsatz has it hitting on all cylinders. The program is being ran like a College/Prep school, if your talented enough, you'll want to be a part of this program. The feeder schools are well stocked, but he is drawing kids from Turfeyfoot and Ockerman, among other schools. St.Henry in the 90's and early 2000's would land their feeder school kids probably 80%, now that number is under 20%. Coldiron would start Varsity for the Cru this year. You can't blame him for wanting to be a part of the Colonel program. If you want to see playing time under Coach Ruthsatz, you better play defense, be unselfish, and be in shape. On a side note, I might be in the minority, but I wish Brent Angel was still playing basketball. He can jump, athletic, and crash the boards. The Colonels could struggle with long athletic front courts.

You have a point there, I was going with the Dayton version, but his best days was probably with Newport. What a great destructive talent.

I first noticed his ability to handle pressure when he was a Sophomore. St. Henry was playing at Holmes, against a very quick pressured full court press. Adam was not phased at all against Beetle or their team. He has had a nice career with the Cru.

I thought Cov Cath going zone in the second half when WV made their run was the difference. Fleek had a nice 3rd and Coldiron had a nice 4th.

I went to the game tonight. It was very business like for the Colonels. Ryle student section had a nice showing. The Raiders played hard but just over matched. Cov Cath's offense is very fluid. The motion, cuts , and constant back doors. Just really well coached.

I think NKU got a "Gem". Initially, I thought he could go to a bigger program, but now I'm leaning that this is a good fit. Carson should make an impact immediately, will have a chance to play all four years.

How would Carson be compared to Elijah Pittman? I know a better attitude is a given, but I saw Elijah drop 20 on UK a few years ago. Any thoughts???
