Miles didn't play in one game of the King of the Bluegrass and came off the bench for the other three.

First of all, Ryle's struggles over the last few years have nothing to do with Vince. A school having more students enrolled doesn't always translate to more wins, just look at how few 9th region titles have been won by 6 A schools recently. Ryle also tends to have a lot of athletes concentrate on football or other sports. If Ryle had a few more Vinces, even one or two more, they would be much more competitive. He is a talented young man with size & above average perimeter skills. I would rank him between 8 & 15 taking school & AAU competition into consideration. I think any program in NKY would love to have him on their team.

Just heard a rumor basketball reclassification was taking place today in Frankfort. I saw football reclassification may be occurring, but hadn't heard anything about basketball? Anyone know anything?

Was very impressed with Kitchens & Neace"s play tonight. Hensley hit some big shots early as well. Clinkenbeard dominated the game for WV. It's a shame Miles was injured & couldn't play. With his presence around the lane, the margin of victory might have been much greater. Fantastic game though & a great atmosphere.

Final. KY class A school takes down the Florida class 9 A school. Lead was 23 at one time. Miles second game back. He played a little less than half the game.

Final. WV led 62-12 at half & didn"t play starters 2nd half. Miles still out.

Dieonte Miles has the most upside. He is over 6'10 now, & is projected to be over 7' with over a 7'3" wingspan. He & Cozart both played for Louisville Magic last summer, but Miles got moved up to 17U to play the 5 & 4 positions. His defensive game is as good as Cozart, but the big separation is offensively. Miles can play in the interior, come out to the short corner, or step out and hit the wide open three-pointer. What separates him from Walter and Kelch is his improving exterior skills and agility and speed getting up and down the floor. Currently his biggest weakness is he needs to gain weight and strength, which has improved & will occur once he goes to college. He also needs to gain experience and stay healthy. He only turned 16 in August and is still maturing physically. Colleges who have reached out are West Virginia, Wake Forest, Virginia Commonwealth, and NKU among others. Moreno will need to play the three at a high-level college, but nice player. Haven't seen James.

Looking forward to this one. If Miles weren't hurt, I would pick Walton by double-digits, but with him out it's a pickem. I'll take Walton in a close one at home.

The thing everyone has to keepin mind is if Miles is okay, WV should get exponentially better. Due to Stanley not being eligible until after summer play, players playing football, injuries, & sickness, these boys have only been on the floor together a few times. As they get more comfortable with each other and find their roles, they could be a team to be reckoned with. They have size, quickness, and depth.. Plus defensively they can make it difficult for the other team to score. They will be interesting to watch late in the season.

I'll not predict a winner of this game, but what I will predict is that no team will win easily. Look for this to be a battle no matter who wins. Should be a good one!
