  1. Anyone who can beat Cov Cath late in the year has to be taken seriously at Rupp
  2. Saw that team play in Frankfort that year in an early season tourney and they got destroyed by shelby county (I think). Saw them 3 months later cut down the nets at Rupp, in what was the largest crowd to see a high school game at that time. I think that the coach was Larry Miller (correct me if Im wrong) I think he may have had some ties to the Frankfort area in the coaching circles.
  3. Wander if the 1st team to 50 wins this game. I kind of expect a lower scoring type game
  4. Harlan County only has 3 losses, but 2 have been to Corbin. If they lose the next game (hat trick), it wont be from home cookin, cajun cookin , or chinese buffet, just plain old.......... cookin
  5. Pick and shoot, Pick and pop, Pick and drive, Pick and roll. Brock will have the ball. Dont know if it will be enough to stay in the game with GRC, but that will be the offensive game plan for Harlan.
  6. GRC will be playing Harlan Independent, the team who beat Harlan County in the 13th region finals
  7. If you havent seen the Harlan "globetrotter" Jordan Brock, you might want to check her out next week. Im sure they will be big underdogs, but she is worth the price of admission. #girlisaplaya
  8. Nice season for the team from Sayre. 11th region is a tough place to make your bones.
  9. You can catch the action on 105.1 FM in the danville area
  10. Garrard needs to improve defensively. Their overall skill will not be equal to the top 5 or so teams in their region, but they normally have some good linemen. I don't think a 7 on 7 type style will benefit them offensively. If they can cut down on turnovers and improve their overall defense they will be in most games.
  11. Interesting how this job was filled before it opened. So much for 30 days and all the mularki that some schools throw out there when hiring. #GITRDONE
  12. In the 13 year period of the 12th region either being at Lincoln or Pulaski the record of the host school is 10 and 10. 2ce the host school has made it to the finals and once the host school has won it. The Champions during that time frame: Wayne, West Jess, Boyle, Southwestern, and Mercer. (I think South Laurel also won it before moving to 13th in 2005 ,but that could have been a normal rotation year at Lincoln)
  13. So much for the home court that everyone always worries about. Once again the home team will not win the 12th
  14. After losing a couple players early to injury, Harlan has had quite a season. The little harlan "globetrotter" is worth the price of admission.
  15. Even though the Lady Ads had beaten Boyle 2ce, I don't really see Boyle as an upset. Their senior leader is headed to Utah State, and has a good enough supporting cast to beat everyone in this region outside of Mercer. This district has the best overall balance in the region.
  16. Casey was #1 seed vs Somerset (11-18 overall). PC was #2 Beat Rock by 20 and 16 during the season
  17. Upset #1 Somerset over Casey.Upset #2 Rockcastle over Pulaski. Upset #3 Boyle over Danville. WHO's NEXT. Only 1 game left
  18. Garrard would love that too....For that would mean they are in the finals.
