I'm pretty sure Somerset was the 4 seed and Rockcastle County was the 3 seed.

Boyle's offense is all about driving to the basket (especially Harris). They always shoot a ton of free throws. I only saw the second half last night but Danville seemed to settle for outside jump shots instead of penetrating, which helps drive the disparity in the free throws.

Yeah that's for sure, Boyle was the more aggressive team from the start.

 

But Danville's a driving team as well (they definitely settled more in the second half), that's why it's so shocking to me.

Very true. It's almost like they looked up at the scoreboard in the third quarter, saw they were down six or eight, and wanted to win it all right then with two or three three-pointers.

Casey was #1 seed vs Somerset (11-18 overall). PC was #2 Beat Rock by 20 and 16 during the season

Even though the Lady Ads had beaten Boyle 2ce, I don't really see Boyle as an upset. Their senior leader is headed to Utah State, and has a good enough supporting cast to beat everyone in this region outside of Mercer. This district has the best overall balance in the region.

If Mercer was excluded from the picture, the region would be WIDE open. Just don't see anybody putting together a full game to outlast Mercer. Buttttttt I've been wrong before and crazier things have happened! Best of luck to everybody in the 12th.
