  1. Mason County seems to be getting things together at the right time. The other teams in the 10th need to take notice or I could see the Royals getting an upset or two in the regional tournament.
  2. I feel about the same as you. We typically stay at Great Wolfe lodge when we go and half the time I never even make it into the amusement park. I'll go in during hours that I know the lines aren't long but other than that I'd just soon hang out at the tiki bar, ride the water coaster a few times, sit in the hot tub, then go back to the room for more beers and whatever sports are on tv. For years I would go in and take our youngest daughter to the small kids area and let my better half go ride the big rides with the other two, but she's tall enough now that she can ride most everything with her mom. So I spend most of my time there at the lodge.
  3. Just watched that one, I think you are right. Looks like dude in the suit got a hand on the chair right before it was to be swung forward. Desouza even looked behind himself at that point to see what had happened.
  4. Wow.. Was Boyd licking their chops with Ashland visiting them on Saturday?
  5. I noticed the same thing. Literally looked like he realized it would be a really bad move on his part to swing it. I'll go back and look again though for the grab. Regardless it's a bad look, for everyone involved. I noticed some suits (coaches) throwing punches as well. If that's the case they need fired immediately.
  6. John Hardin has all the tools, but this loss just goes to show that any team can lose on a given night. One of the things that makes Kentucky basketball great, there is a lot of parity.
  7. He is fun to watch. One of those kids that creates a stat line that leaves you questioning where all those numbers came from. His court vision and passing ability that comes with that is what makes him the player he is. But when he racks up 14 rebounds or so it makes you scratch your head as to how that happened, given his size. Much better shooter than he gets credit for as well, he just doesn't rely on that. I'm curious how the netflix documentary on him turns out.
  8. When Ashland is hitting on all cylinders they're gonna be hard to beat. Greenup County would be about 10 points better than they have been this season if they would focus on playing Dryden down low more often on offense. Kid is a beast down low, leads the state in rebounds I believe, yet he spends a lot of time on offense out around the three point line and he doesn't appear to be a good three point shooter. It leaves me baffled, but I'm not a coach.
  9. The Ashland radio crew had him with more assists. But I won't argue it, great game for a freshman.
  10. Greenup County started this game on a 10-2 run then Ashland closed the gap and led at halftime. The second half was all Ashland. Ashland freshman Colin Porter was an assist or two away from a triple double.
  11. Bradley with a three for Ashland. Ashland leads 69-43 with three minutes left.
  12. Turnovers by Ashland while Porter sits leads to a GC run. 64-43 Ashland with 4 minutes left.
  13. Atkins with two free throws for Ashland. Misses the first, makes the second. 64-39 Ashland with 5 minutes left.
  14. Burchett with a nice drive for Greenup. 63-39 Ashland now.
  15. Porter is a rebound and a couple of assists away from a triple double. 61-35 Ashland with 6:48 left.
  16. Ashland leads 54-33 at the end of the third. Another one of those 3rd quarter runs. Coach May's makes really good halftime adjustments.
  17. Villars fouled on a made basket, hits the free throw. Ashland leads 44-33 with 2 minutes left in the third.
  18. Nelson for Greenup cuts the lead to 7. Ashland missed on a couple of good opportunities. Then hits the three. Ashland leads 39-29 with 3 minutes left in the third.
  19. 29-21 Ashland 1:42 left in the half. Greenup shooting two free throws, miss both.
  20. 27-19 Ashland with 2:30 left in the half. Timeout Greenup.
