You had me until the enrollment statement. South actually does not have 5A numbers; they have 4A numbers with predicted 5A numbers by next season while they will still be in 4A. Gotta get the facts right..... So a Championship this year would be with legitimate 4A numbers, but next year possibly not due to rate of growth.

Early in the season I would have said Pulaski, but these seem to be two teams headed in opposite directions. I will take Highlands 35-21.

Short answer.... Yes! The other teams on the bottom half don't come close.

Plenty of AAU tournaments have MASSIVE crowds... This is not the only Holiday Tourney that does this... I am just curious as to why they do it. Seems to primarily gain more from entry fees each day.

Worked out GREAT!!! They went from being a team no one knew or even ranked top ten to making it to the State Semi Final.... I'd say that was a pretty MAGNIFICENT season! Lol!

South wouldn't score 3 points???? Scott gave up 30 points to a mediocre Bryan Station team.... You must be joking! And in terms of Great teams, Central Hardin is better than both Simon Kenton and Scott County. Teams records from Northern and Eastern Kentucky can be deceptive due to the lack of "Real" competition...

MCCracken and Central Hardin are both better than EVERY team in Scott County's Region! Same goes for Simon Kentons Region... It is safe to say the winner of 6A will come from the top half of the bracket...

Ok... One of your "GREAT" 6A schools that are still in the playoffs only scored 3 points on South when they played this season. What does that say about 6A. In reality there are 2 teams in 6A (Male and Trinity). Everyone else is playing for second.

If you think 85% of Warren County doesn't think South Warren is the better team better team then you are living in the dreams of your own little Purple Bubble... You really should get out more. In regards to Allen County, they did not score against Souths Defense. They scored a pick 6 off a tipped pass at the line of scrimmage. Their only TD. In regards to JV teams, BG struggled against Monroe County?!?!? Let's be real!

By depth, I also mean depth in a teams starting 5. Hopkinsville starts five players that could play Division I basketball. Bowling Green does is well, and has one or two that come off the bench that could play Division I basketball. Taylor county has two.... Albeit those two may be High major, I am not sure they are "DEEP" enough 1-5 to handle the aforementioned teams... But at the end of the day, there is a reason we play these games. Rankings can't help you when you step foot on the hardwood. We will see what they are made of when they face competitive teams.

Hoptown looked REALLY good this Summer! They have plenty of size, speed, and athleticism... They also got a key transfer from UHA. They are coached well and have depth. Their only knock is that their best players are only Sophmores, but those Sophomores have plenty of grit. I think they will be in the mix come February. Them, Christian County, and Bowling Green are definitely the top 3 teams out of the West. I also like Graves County and Paducah Tilghman.

???? It was Bowling Greens depth that got them to the State Championship last year! They had 2 Sophomores come off the bench and cause havoc in at least 2 playoff games! And the injury bug can hit anyone at anytime.... If TC lost either of their top 2 players due to injury, I don't even know if they would make it out of their Region. BG and Hoptown could lose one of their top players and still be a title contender. That is the difference!

Simon Kenton and Scott County would not even score on South Warrens Defense. And 85% of the people in Warren County would tell you that SW is the better team between them and the Purples, so you are further proving your lack of knowledge. Nice try though!

Taylor County lacks depth and size.... Two things you need as the season progresses. They will be very good, but IMO have a few weaknesses that may keep them from a State Title.

Well they just tied most people's top 3 pick Taylor County.... Where do you rank TC if Eastern is not Top 10 in the State?

NO WAY there are 6 Teams in the State better than South Warren and Bowling Green!!! That's just plain disrespectful! Lol!
