Moeller is not going anywhere to my knowledge. Same for Carmel. Former Trinity Head Coach Kevin Wright ,the Carmel Head Coach, enjoys playing the Rocks. Moeller does not have a long list of schools who want to schedule them.

Those Tennessee schools (MBA, BA and Ensworth)voted as a group to STOP scheduling Trinity. "They werem getting too beat up". The coaches I spoke to had a table at Hall of Fame dinner when Brad Lampley and Dennis Lampley were inducted into Trinity's Hall of, Fame. They were dead serious to save face, they all voted not to play Trinity!

I do believe this is Coach Cobb's last game coaching the Rocks. Everything he stated in the discussion with Big Things Kentucky was true. I forgot how not playing a grade school season and freshman games hgurt. The limited rosters during covid also slowed things down. The Rocks are on a roll since then. I like Trinity 35-7. The Spartans score after the running clock is enforced. This could be the Rocks 30th State Title in football. This one will be extra special as it is our first encounter with South Warren on the gridiron. Drive safely and enjoy the 38 degree weather.

St. Xavier is still trying to overcome the "bad karma" from Coach Glaser's wave of the cap on the field to Trinity's sideline. This came after a successful late field goal was converted into a touchdown pass (4:54 remained in fourth quarter) in the Championship game played at WKU on December 5, 2009. The Tigers won the game 34-10.

Unless South Warren is that team, I am afraid there will be no one left for Coach Cobb to face.

I will have witnessed every Trinity vs St Xavier varsity football contest for 51 years!

Why? Other than X trying to mess with Trinity normal game day routine. Maybe it is strategy in St Xavier's mindset as the sun could be an issue for the first hour. We'll know how this worked out for them by 7:30 Friday!

Only game in Kentucky scheduled for 5PM

Male is getting most of the better student-athletes from ALL traditional feeder middle schools. Look at Butler's recent lack of success. Wolfe figured it out in Jefferson County. I truly feel with the relatively new administration at St. Xavier, Wolfe is their leading candidate. Like Wallace, no teaching responsibilities, only hand shaking and fund raising.....I was told by Baisch relative, he does not want to be head coach of his Alma Mater.

Highlands passed him by previously.

Wolfe will be the next head coach at St. Xavier (Louisville) in my humble opinion.

From KHSAA: For postseason competition in Class 6A, for 2025, Districts 3 and 4 will be cross-bracketed as Region 2 for playoffs, and Districts 5 and 6 will be cross-bracketed as Region 3 for playoffs. Someone please confirm the regions. District 1 and 2=Region 1? District 3 and 4 = Region 2? Thus placing South Warren and St X and Manual in the same half of the playoff bracket? District 5 and 6=Region 3 and district 7 and 8 = Region 4? This would make my previous post invalid.

Riherd's bracket shows this game at 7:30PM and Trinity twitter reflects the kickoff is at 7:00PM. Those studying Riherd's bracket must keep in mind round three is based on RPI of teams remaining in each half of their bracket. We now have our "extra hour" back for 11/2/2025.

I believe Trinity will be at South Warren the day after Thanksgiving. The Tigers will have to wait until 12/6 at 4PM for the rematch with the Rocks. I also am confident St Xavier will play Manual and Frederick Douglass along their playoff journey.

If any class has a gripe, it is Class A. They are the noon Friday game annually. What is wrong with 5A playing at 8PM on Saturday?
