  8. The better team won last night. Congratulations to Caldwell fans. Got a good team with some special players. Sindelar might be playing 4/5 years from now on Sundays. He's Ky's next Tim Couch but with wheels. 2nd best player on the field was the Cain kid who looks like a a man but is only a Sophmore. As for the colonels, tuff match-up with such a young inexperience team specially on the offensive side. 5 turnovers and twice had the ball at the 2 with no points to show. However, though we played hard and realize that this team is a work in process. Nice job Caldwell hope you guys can win 2A for WKY.
  9. I guess we have to wait and see how it all plays out. Graves will be tuff team again I agree on that.
  10. 7- Elizabethtown 5- Simon Kenton 3- Central 2- Eastern 1- Thomas Nelson TB Elizabethtown
  11. I think Christian County will give Warren Central all they want in the 2nd round this year.. Both of em gave BG a good game last year in the playoffs. Would have like to seen who would have won if they would have played last year. I Dont take to much stock in scrimmages Christian started a 3 string TB and rested 5/6 starters on both sides of the ball to get ready for a very good Caldwell County team.

  14. Caldwell called Christian for this game so I'm sure their confident. Give them thumbs up for wanting to play and hearing it will be a record crowd. Last two season the offense helped carried the colonels but it will take some time to get them jelling with all the young kids expecting to play. I do think the backfield could be better this season with a another Mosley who's bigger and faster than his brother who rushed for over 1500 last season.
  15. Out of District Teams: Week 1- Caldwell County Preseason no.1 rank team 2A Week 2- Hillsbore. Favorite to win their district and won Vandebelt 7on7 tour. Week 3- Henderson County. 6A power Week 4- Fort Campbell Week 9- Fulton County, Tenn. Won Tenn 4A Title by 30 some points with 9 starters back on offense and 8 on defense. Week 10- McCracken. Should be a solid team. District Games: Hoptown Ohio County Apollo Graves 3 Home Games 7 away.
  16. I like it to lick our wounds and get ready for the playoff. Also gives you a chance to go scout on possible teams you might play in the 2nd round or so.
  17. What everybody is not saying is will BG's defense be the same without Grifth? I know they still have good coaches plus players but it will be interesting. Grifth's son was a solid DE/OLB is gone and their starting SS 16 graduated who I thought was their best defensive player.
  18. Christian County did pick up their 10th game last week with Fulton, Tennessee out of Knoxville. Defending 4A State champion.
  19. Allen went on to play for Morehead. Good player not sure how it turned out for him. No argument here that Highlands team was special.
  20. They really lost to Highlands in their first game. 3 starters were not allowed to play for missing a team meeting. I believe CCHS was the first team to win the 4A title with all the playoff game on the road. Had to beat no.1 rank Owensboro and then no.1 rank Lex Byran Station who had 3 players who ended up playing in the NFL. Maybe one of the best defensive teams in state history. Gave up less than 8 pts a game with not allowing a first quarter score all season. Fort Thomas that year had some really tuff men on their squad. Two great teams for sure!!
