  1. My God, who were they playing? The University of UPS Big Brown Trucks?!?! Because it sure sounds like he got run over by one!!! It is good to hear that he may return.
  2. If Doug Beaumont is this high, then Kasey Clark of Russell would have to be rated at about a 110!!
  3. They are. But anyone can call them in..........
  4. I'd say in the western part of the state, most of us understand that the score doesn't tell the whole story. In this case, I talked to several people who were at the game, and not one said BG ran up the score. They said Logan was just outmatched.
  5. 42 points is a good sign with Male coming to town next week.
  6. Congrats to Fort Campbell. Heckuva defensive performance and comeback in the second half. To hold Trigg County to -1 yard in the second half is a MAJOR accomplishment. I'm not too disappointed with the Cats. This was actually supposed to be a rebuilding year, so this team still has a bit of a learning curve. How they rebound next week against rival Caldwell County will be the measuring stick.
  7. Lone Oak should be the 4th seed......at worse. They have the potential to rebound and beat Trigg and/or Fort Campbell.
  8. HC might need some work defensively, but not as much as you think. Keith Tandy (Christian County's QB) can make defenses look silly. He is a special player.
  9. Congrats on the win. Don't you love the nailbiters? Caldwell is playing real well. Seems that different players have been stepping up each week, which can make a team dangerous to prepare for. This game in 2 weeks with Trigg County will be a dandy. It is shaping up to be another classic in the long standing rivalry. Ptown Dude, I got from the article that Lone Oak shot themselves in the foot several times (penalties, 10 men on the field). Are they a little on the 'raw' side or did they just have some bad luck?
  10. Congrats to the Red Devils. They are winning over more fans each week. They really need to find some more offense against Ohio County next week. 15 points won't beat Male.
  11. You're telling me. I woke up my wife twice that night hollering and yelling......at a computer screen with words.
  12. Very good point. I agree.
  13. Think Hoptown/Union County '04. The whole site was tuning in to updates of the game that night. We were all going nuts!!
  14. Wow!! Russellville loses on a missed XP. Congrats to F-S on their win. This rivalry lives up to the billing once again. Now that Russellville has a blemish on their record, maybe everyone around town will come down to earth. This should actually help them more than hurt them. This team has the ability to put this behind them and rebound. :thumb:
  15. I am surprised by this one also. I thought Metcalfe would run the table and not get tested until they played Hancock and Russellville later this season.
  16. Why the switch in offensive philosophy?
  17. Big win for Graves. Not only beating the Cards, but shutting them out. Impressive in my book.
  18. How big of an upset is this? And how far should Rockcastle drop in the rankings?
