Wow!! Russellville loses on a missed XP. Congrats to F-S on their win. This rivalry lives up to the billing once again.

 

Now that Russellville has a blemish on their record, maybe everyone around town will come down to earth. This should actually help them more than hurt them. This team has the ability to put this behind them and rebound. :thumb:

Congrats to former Mayfield standout Tim Schlosser and his Wildcats for the win...sounds like a good game. Tough luck for former Mayfield assistant John Myers...but I believe his team will bounce back and have a good run the rest of the season.

Russellville is for real.

 

They must cut drastically down on the penalties.

Macdon, your right penalties killed us tonight. However, don't let that take away from the great win Franklin had, it was a very hard fought game, I thought the field goal was good, he didn't miss it by much.

Bobby Bowden has a club about FGA's that go wide.

 

How about #86?? He leads the region in soccer scoring. Returns an interception 61 yards, makes several TD saving tackles (running down Sydnor) and then nails three extra points. My player of the game.

He is a heck of an athlete, being able to catch Sydnor from behind. The penalty that cost us the game was the one where we had 2nd and 1ft on you guys 5, score a TD but hold behind the play. That killed us, Dalcourt is a heck of a QB, he has a live arm and runs very well. I would bet that Franklin will end up in their normal spot come playoff time, the 2 seed behind BG.

Sounds like a great game. John Myers is a heck of coach and Russellville has a heck of a team. Congrats to Franklin Simpson.
