Trigg led 21-0 at one point but had -1 yards in the second half against an aggressive FC defense. Brandon Bridges had 138 yards rushing for Trigg. Durrell Williams hadfive catches for 148 yards and three TDs.

Congrats to Fort Campbell. Heckuva defensive performance and comeback in the second half. To hold Trigg County to -1 yard in the second half is a MAJOR accomplishment.

 

I'm not too disappointed with the Cats. This was actually supposed to be a rebuilding year, so this team still has a bit of a learning curve. How they rebound next week against rival Caldwell County will be the measuring stick.

This was a game of two halves. What a job by the Falcons when it looked like they were going to get kicked out of Cadiz, down 21-0 at one point. The QB for the Falcons did a great job throwing passes up to the tall Williams receiver. Trigg at times had 11 players in the box. Congrats to both teams on an outstanding game. I have never seen Trigg shut down like they were in the 2nd half.

 

This could be a rematch later in the season.
