If points against is the 3-way tiebreaker, then Anderson has the best shot at #1 (if Shelby beats Spencer). Based on my quick math Anderson has 148 points against, Collins 151, and Shelby1 120. If Shelby County were to beat Spencer and hold them under 28 points they would be #1. If Spencer beats Shelby, Collins and Anderson would be 2-1 and Shelby and Spencer would be 1-2. A 2-way tie is broken by head to head results so it would be #1 Collins, #2 Anderson, #3 Spencer, and #4 Shelby. I don't think Spencer beats Shelby or that Shelby holds them under 28 points, so Anderson will most likely be the #1 seed, but nothing is set in stone. However, there isn't a whole lot of separation between these 4 teams.

If Spencer beats Shelby then Collins is definitely #1 due to their win over Anderson. I'm not exactly sure how the 3-way tiebreaker works, I had just heard that Collins was in good shape with that. I could be wrong though. I actually like that they only play one game for seeding. It's really difficult to beat a team 3 times in one season. Plus it allows you to play more games outside your district/region.

I think that Anderson actually isn't the #1 seed in the 30th. Collins has a win over them and I believe they hold the tie breaker in the event of a 3 way tie with Shelby.

Final The Titans welcomed Grant Clarkson back to action tonight. They will host Eastern tomorrow night and Male on Tuesday.

No doubt Collins will be good and have the best chance of anyone in the region to knock Anderson off. However, after finishing 4th in the state and returning everyone it wouldn't be right to pick anyone else to win the region at this point. Collins always plays a tough schedule and they seem to have stepped it up even more this season. A full schedule hasn't been posted on KHSAA, but so far they have Mercy, Scott County, Christian County, Anderson County, Butler, Lafayette, Bullitt East, Oldham County, Sacred Heart, and Woodford County all on the schedule. They will certainly be prepared for the postseason.

Final The Colonels won on a layup at the buzzer. Collins' Jacob Feltner led all scorers with 14.

Anderson is the heavy favorite with Collins and Oldham as the two challengers. After those 3 there is a big drop off.

Final The Lady Titans handed the Lady Rockets their 2nd loss of the season last night in double overtime.

They're really starting to look like the biggest threat to Owen County. You can never count out the Oldham County Colonels though.

Final South Oldham hit 7 3-pointers in the first quarter alone! Collins' Dominique Turner led all scorers with 27. The Titans were without senior Grant Clarkson, who is still recovering from an injury.

Collins will be a little shorthanded. Grant Clarkson is out with an injury he suffered Tuesday night against John Hardin. Collins would likely have a very tough time winning even with Grant, so I would expect a big win for South. I really like their chances in all 4 of those games.

Collins has a strong sophomore class with Nick Eades, Jacob Feltner, Nick Fort, and Kyle Purdue all playing quite a few minutes this year. Feltner has been the standout in this group, averaging just under 10 points a game and shooting nearly 54% behind the arc. He can flat out shoot and will only get better as he continues to develop other aspects of his game.

Sophomore Jacob Feltner scored 21 points, including hitting 5 of 7 from behind the three point line. According to the KHSAA website, he is shooting 53.6% from 3!

This was a much needed win for the Titans. They have won 3 straight after a rough start, with all 3 coming against regional opponents.

Aaliyah Wells (Collins) and Eriel McKee (Anderson County) have both started every game for Morehead State. Eriel is the leading scorer at over 15 points and 7 rebounds a game. Aaliyah is averaging 10 and 5 a game and recently had a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists against Alabama A&M. Eriel was just named OVC Player of the Week.

Final The Lady Titans win the championship game of the Lady Cat Classic at Waggener. They defeated Western last night at Presentation earlier today to advance to the championship.

Final Disappointing loss for the Titans. The good news is there is plenty of room for improvement. Shelby County picks up their first win of the season and their second all time against Collins. Having Manica back helps them a lot. Collins will be on the road Tuesday at Madison Central.

Nasean Roseberry rushed for over 900 yards in 10 games as a sophomore for Collins in a pass first offense. He rushed for 305 on 19 carries against North Oldham alone. Spencer County returns two members of their three headed monster rushing attack. Branden Leff rushed for 1,611 yards and 18 TDs as a junior and Kadin Smith rushed for 1,254 yards and 15 TDs as a sophomore.

Yes, that team played together since 6th grade at Shelby West Middle. SCPS does not allow students to attend schools outside their district, unless their parents are an employee.
