Congrats to Elana Ornales for signing with U of L! Elana finished the 2018 season with helping Oldham Co. to the state tournament with a batting avg .442. 494 OBP, and 10 HR's. She an outstanding player and leader for the Lady Colonels!

I'll say let her play up. Most of the girls that play on a freshmen team are from middle school. The 9th graders that are a step ahead of others play up to JV or varsity... Let her play up with her friends and she will be ready for high school ball.

Jr. SS Elana Ornales has commited to play softball at the University of Louisville. Congratulations Elana!:jump:

Sr. Haley Springer sets the state RBI record with 78 so far this season. She also is ranked 5th in RBI's in the nation for this season. Batting avg. .554 and is tied for first with 13 HR's. Nice Job Haley!!!

Oldham County has had a great start to the their season! With a 7-0 start and a run avg. of 17 per game, they have 4 girls with 9 home runs together and a team batting avg. of .527 Sr. Haley Springer - 3 Jr. Shaelyn Gillham - 1 So. Elana Ornales - 3 Fr. Taylor Jackson -2

Pitching will be down this year with many good team graduating their top pitchers. Top teams with the best hitters and top teams with the best defense? What's your thoughts???
