Namvong from South Warren will be one of best in state

Spin, I had only heard about him from you , JC, and DT, but got to watch him on video during the State Championship game. I was really impressed with him and see him doing alot of damage next year, if South can retool the OLine. Very good player.

Willie Reynolds at Warren East gets very little publicity but is an excellent back running behind a struggling offensive line. Would love to see him in the FS Wing Tee attack.

Nasean Roseberry rushed for over 900 yards in 10 games as a sophomore for Collins in a pass first offense. He rushed for 305 on 19 carries against North Oldham alone.

 

Spencer County returns two members of their three headed monster rushing attack. Branden Leff rushed for 1,611 yards and 18 TDs as a junior and Kadin Smith rushed for 1,254 yards and 15 TDs as a sophomore.

I agree with spin. Naming will be extremely explosive next year. The o-line will be just fine for him next year as well. Macon is on track as well with the Reynolds kid from East. If East had the o-line a lot of other schools have. You would hear way more out of this young man

Would love to see him on a better TEAM... This young man has the talent to play big time football, but having a lackluster line may keep him from having a chance at those opportunities. Warren East should think about running the Wildcat with this young man just to get the ball in his hands quicker...

Steven Livers (Jr)- 651 on 59 carries. 11 yds/carry

Kurtlen Brown will be the go-to ball carrier for Ashland next year. Despite playing second fiddle to Quinton Baker, Kurtlen rushed for over 1,000 yards and 12 TDs, averaging 10ypc.

 

He got the lion's share of the carries in Ashland's last three games after Baker got hurt. In consecutive weeks, he rushed for 206 yards against Tates Creek, 268 yards against Bourbon Co., and 234 yards against Scott. I look for him to put up big numbers next year.

Don't forget Korie Cleveland. The fastest of the running backs.

He is definetly a sleeper in 4A. I don't know enough about what other 4A teams have coming back at the moment to come up with a list, but like you, i believe Kurtlen will put up big numbers next season. I imagine he will get some D1 attention before its all said and done.

I could probably list 10 backs I would take before him in a pick-up game.... but he was incredibly effective for what SW needed from him.

 

I can't say I was impressed with his speed, size, or big play ability..... but that's not what he does.

 

He is a back who always gets positive yards and seemingly gets stronger as the game goes while your Defense gets weaker. He will beat you to death with 5 yard gains.That is what impressed me.

 

Not a back to get 200 yards and 6 TD's... not a back to rip an 80 yard run... but if you want 105 yards on 22 carries and 2 TD's..with no fumbles...and picking up about 10 First Downs...Namvong is Mr. Consistency
