There have been times I have wanted to give my child's coaches advice, but when I coached I didn't like it (parents giving me advice) so I keep my mouth shut and my opinions to myself. :no:

Although, I was confounded why Holmes did not exploit middle of CCH 3-2 zone. Twice in 3rd quarter they ran a high post & got 2 scores, one on a drive & the other on a high/low feed. For some reason they never tried again (???) agreed..

Coach l was getting some attitude from a few players..I'm sure it has to do with the fact that they were getting man handled.and not getting any calls.the refs let that game get out of control abd missed some crucial calls and called a few bad calls on Avery which took him out the game..the push in the back by schu was missed how I don't know the double foul imo was only called to please the fans because the initial call was on a Holmes player..before anything is said I don't have a horse in the race..just a fan that wanted to see a good game..

more people show for the hs games than the nku games...

I'll take Newport by 4 if Covington plays and can stay out of foul trouble he will be the x factor tonight..would love to see the matchup of him vs Mullins.. haven't seen much of Newport other bigs..snapped has to take smart shots take care of the ball and defend well. I believe price will have a good game just for the fact it's cc and his senior leadership...but Covington is the key to victory for npt

I think bo shu (sp) will be the bigger issue for hc with his size and ability to play inside out. no doubt cvh will be a factor in the game.

Story is simple grant too much size for ryle. Ryle missed a ton of freethrows. Grant converted at the line and had a ton of 2nd chances at the rim. Grant was is the better of the two teams. Grant also has a ton of seniors. Ryle had got the lead down to 10 or 12 at one point late in the 3rd grant kept beating the press and scored allot of uncontested shots.

How did Mullins do for holmes? And who started for Holmes other than Avery Bolden and mcclendon?
