The way the KOB was, and I assume it still is, you buy one ticket and that gives you access to two gyms in the same building where the games are going on. Pretty good deal.

The KOB is held at Fairdale HS, which is about 3/4 mile off I65 south of town....very easy to get to.

Trinity, the state's no. 1 team, leaves for Florida on Wednesday, I believe, and won't be playing in Louisville this week. Still, there are several options available. Tuesday night games include Christian Academy at Ballard (Ballard one of the best teams in the Seventh Region usually and off to a good start; Christian Academy off to a slow start) and Fairdale at Bullitt Central (just a little south of Louisville). I think my choice for Tuesday night would be Male (with Will Parker) at Fern Creek (good, young team).

Male plays again on Wednesday at Brown. Not sure I would recommend that game; may be somewhat one-sided.

On Thursday, there are a couple of games in the Best of Hoops Classic at Oldham County (St. X-Lexington Dunbar and Central-Oldham County), plus DeSales at Jeffersontown and Shawnee at PRP (defending Sixth Region champion).

On Friday and Saturday, the King of the Bluegrass will be the place to be. Several good games scheduled for both days.

^ I'm with Smallhoops: Male at Fern Creek is top notch here in Louisville mid-week. Most teams are getting prepped for holiday tournaments so there isn't a ton to see.

I think DuPont Manual plays at Butler on Tuesday night. Butler's recently lost to Moore and DeSales but has also beaten Bullitt East. Might be worth a look of you're out and about tomorrow and absolutely must see some hoops.

There will be a couple of NKY teams playing in the KOB so that might be a good option as well. I know NCC and Holmes are there and I believe another NKY team.
