Grant County 72 Ryle 45

Didn't see a thread on this one. Anyone with some insight? Boxscore?

I have no box score, but I must say I'm surprised in the margin of victory. Grant must be pretty good. Any details on Grant County team this year? Can they compete for an 8th region title?

Grant is very good. 10 Seniors and the Saylor brothers are very good.

Story is simple grant too much size for ryle. Ryle missed a ton of freethrows. Grant converted at the line and had a ton of 2nd chances at the rim. Grant was is the better of the two teams. Grant also has a ton of seniors. Ryle had got the lead down to 10 or 12 at one point late in the 3rd grant kept beating the press and scored allot of uncontested shots.

Really think Grant is going to surprise some teams. I know it's summer but I saw them when they beat Holmes and thought they would win the 8th.

You don't see many teams carrying ten Seniors.

Grant is very good, and ranks #3 in the 8th region in my preseason write-up. I think they have a very legit chance to earn the Braves' first region title since 1979.

This Grant Co. team can flat out play! Make no mistake, this team will be playing well into March. Strong in every position! I believe these 10 seniors will go out with a bang:ylsuper:
