This is going to be a great baseball game Newcath playing well as of late and wanting revenge against the Tigers and Bellevue with Sanders at the helm is always going to give you there best shot and wanting to prove a point that they are contenders in the district and not pretenders will be highly motivated might have to come out and watch this one! When and where is this game?

2009 was the last time I can remember Ludlow swept the district in the regular season and threw off in the first district tournament game and got knocked out in the first round. Win or lose in the finals great accomplishment for the Panthers Coach Grey doing great things with this team good luck Panthers!

After seeing this group of highlands kids play the past couple of years against this Bellevue team I really didn't see anyone from highlands with over the top power to put the ball out even with "short fences" don't count out this Bellevue team Coach Sanders has his team dialed into his system and I would not at all be surprised if they pulled out a win against the Bluebirds.

is there a minimum amount of games to have to have scheduled? I know there was a maximum amount that can be played, at least that's how it was when I played. While browsing around on Khsaa I noticed Dixie only had 16 games scheduled, is this because of canceled games? Lack of scheduling?

All tournament long the Khsaa and officials where against the small 9th region school HC winning the tournament opposing coaches said so and even other fans felt that way HC had more then just a gantlet of s bracket to go through during this tournament but they still prevailed where as the other teams they will be compared to haven't been able to get past that hump so yes they deserve the nod.

Watch the game over and tell me how many fouls and walks got called on HC some deserving and tell me how many on ACS got looked the other way on!

There has been many of dominate teams in northern Kentucky Gurks basketball but could never get over that hump and beat that one team to take the title this team did they took every blow given to them and punched back just as hard. Whether it was an official trying give Etown the game or an official trying to give the game to Allen county the win HC got over the hump 4 times in this tournament so for now I say yes they are the best girls northern Kentucky team unless someone can prove me wrong they are deserving of this

Khsaa making a bad name for itself with this tournament, officials have been one sided and then why does Acs deserve 3/4 of the gym seats and HC gets a 1/4? Pretty bad Khsaa

Would this argument being going on had HC not won the All A but are still in the sweet sixteen? They took care of business and the schedule put in front of them and therefore are All A State champs and start tomorrow towards a Khsaa state championship, give it a rest.

The East Carter game for HC Turner didn't play a minute in the game and Murphy played a lot of his bench players which typically don't play as many minutes as they did that game not taking anything away from those players but when you've got 7-8 players you know you can play and won't skip a beat on Eather end of the floor and one of those is not playing then you add some more to the mix who don't have a lot of varsity experience your gonna take a hit. Turner was a excuse my language if I offend anyone but an idiot away from being the player of the year. She showed how good she is in the 9th region tournament scoring 22 points in the biggest game of the year. So if you look at it that way with her in you can usually count on at least 12-15 points maybe more from her individually which changes the outcome of the East Carter game. That being said I to have seen E-town play and they are VERY good but as for the guards intimidating the HC guards I laugh at that argument Mclendon might be one of if not the best ball handlers in the state haven't seen her crack under pressure yet or for lack of better terms be intimidated.

Being an HC fan before we worry about the possibility of seeing E-town in round two does anyone have any info on Bell county? Go to scores does HC have a shot to make it past the first round?

As I sorta stated above I would rather lose on a last second shot on a big stage in a big game then the way Dixie lost last night. Regardless of being the best player on the court or not I would take my chances of my defense stepping up with having the momentum after taking the lead with what would have been under .30 left in the game making bolden take a highly contested 3 to win it. Heck if I was the coach honestly I would have shut off the 3 point line and if you give up a 2 no problem your still playing having a shot at controlling your fait. Like i stated earlier Dixie was getting to the rim all night long so anything could have happened in ot if they would have got there.

Cov Cath determines this games outcome, if they show up with there smiles and where better then you attitude Like against Newport and the first half against St Henry Holmes will win if Cov Cath shows up focused and plays good team basketball then Cov Cath by 10+. Just think Holnes not very deep after Bolden, Mclendon, Avery.

I have video of the last possession by Dixie if I can figure out how to post it I will. That being said not sure what Dixies plan was waiting so long in my opinion Moore and Schreck where getting to the basket all night long beating Holmes guards off the bounce causing Avery to have to hedge over and help giving Dixie easy put backs all night, why not do the same thing at around .30 and take your chance on defense hoping Holmes forces a 3? Rather get beat on a big time shot on a big time stage then a turnover.

Congrats to SK on the trip to the sweet 16 first and foremost it's well deserved. That being said this team this year is no where near last years team with a down year in the 8th SK should come out as the top team, the Anderson teams that SK has to play the past couple years are ten times better then the Anderson county team this year. Again not taking anything away from SK they took care of business and for that there season continues just don't think they could beat last years team.
