Why do people insist on bringing up a mutual agreement? South Oldham was not involved in any mutual agreement. How is that hard to understand? Just because someone said Highlands and Oldham Co. had an agreement not to give film to South Oldham does not mean it is ok. It seems we have a reading comprehension issue in this subject.

South Oldham did not agree to anything. Just because Highlands and Oldham Co. may have made an agreement to not give a film does not make it the right decision. And based on the other thread I am not sure Oldham made any agreement anyway. Bottom line is BW refused to give a film. Up to each person to decide if they agree or disagree.

Highlands is better than what a lot of people think. They are competitive with anyone not named CovCath in 5A. While Oldham County might be the Colonels they are not the correct Colonels.

Great job by the Red Devils. They have built a machine in Campbell County! Besides high quality players, if you look at their coaching staffs its a whose who of some serious football knowledge.

What were the scores of those 2 games?

Of course if you have a bad snap or drop the hold (which happened once today) it is immediately blown dead. I really doubt any kicker at this age could make many kicks if they were contested. It just takes too long to get snap down and kicker to approach the ball.

Bellevue Tigers defeat Newport 28-20 in the Junior American Finals. Quincy Barber with 2 long runs and a touchdown pass for Newport. Kid is flat out a sensational offensive football player. Jase Iles and Dmitri Welch 2 TD's a piece for Bellevue. Connor Seiter with huge extra point kicks that are worth 2 points that really put Newport in a hole when trading TD's as they did not attempt a kick. That is a huge rule if you have a kicker that can get you 2 points and only 1 point when you run or pass an extra point. Jase Iles, Eli Morgan and Connor Seiter huge defensive games for Bellevue when it looked like Newport had a chance to take the lead.

Just please stop with statements like this. Just because someone predicts that NCC will not win does not mean you need to play the pity angle. And go with the "well I guess they should just not show up." I despise that statement. Do I think NCC will win? NO.....But really my opinion means nothing when they play the game. Thats why you show up and play since upsets do happen.

I should have said this game should have no effect on either team.....just come out healthy. It is a cool rivalry game for one that has no bearing on playoffs.

In the whole scheme of things this game means nothing.... And I do not see them losing to NCC anyway.

Its going to be a very tough game with these two.........Very difficult to beat a good team twice and Newport seems to be hitting on all cylinders as opposed to 5 weeks ago when that game was played.

Newport Juniors very impressive today with win over Taylor Mill. I suspect they have a great shot at winning the Super Bowl. QB was simply unstoppable running and throwing.
