I'm happy that the All A found a new home in the wake of the Convention Center demolition. I'm a proud EKU grad, but their facility isn't the greatest place to watch a basketball game. The bottom line is that the All A was forced to make a change and EKU stepped up. I wish nothing but the best for both parties. I sure hope to make it to Richmond and catch some basketball. After 30 years, maybe they'll save my seat.

But what clouds things is all of those that do move just for sports.

I think I already have. There were whispers of it before the season had ended and I heard she told her now former coach last week. Getting this player still won't put Oldham near SK level. They may win their district though.

That leaves South, North and Trimble. It will also require a move because Oldham schools do not accept transfers unless they move into the district. No exceptions...not even for good ball players.

I just think the girls tourney loses a little bit of its identity by being in the same place as the boys. They had that at WKU and haven't really had a chance to develop it at NKU yet. I'm sure it would come. Now they're just doing what the boys do. With all of the events now in Lex, looks like the KHSAA and UK/Lex are in bed together.

Let's just have it at Marion County High. It's the geographic center of the state. Then there wouldn't be any banter over who has to travel the most and we can find something else to complain about.

Trimble is no man's land. Not part of the Louisville area except for tv and not part of NKY. Clifford is a good player, leader and person.

Let's not give Campbell all the credit. In session 2 last year they played Trimble and TC had as many fans there as CC. Small county farther away but always travels well.

For the finals last year, it is listed at 3,444. No listings for other games I researched.

I'm sure as far as the KHSAA is concerned, it will go to the highest bidder. I haven't heard of WKU and BG want back in or if NKU wants to hold on. I haven't heard if any others want to enter the mix either. It will be interesting to see who really wants it.
