Carroll County High School Athletic Director Paul Stone announced this morning that the new girls basketball coach will be Ron Henderson. Henderson has coached girls basketball the past 11 years in Oldham County. This will be his first high school head coaching job. There will be a meet and greet scheduled soon.

Hope he does well. Sounds like a quality hire.

He is a good man and will do a great job at Carroll.

Just now got around to seeing this thread....Ron is a great guy, and will do fantastic at Carroll County. Ron's a good friend who I've known for years who has a real head for the game. He and I actually coached a rec team (teenagers) once that included his older son, Dillon.

 

Best of luck to Ron and the Lady Panthers this year!
