By the looks of their schedule on Riherds, it doesn't appear so.

As a former member of my local district's calendar committee I can honestly say yes. We typically throw in a day between MLK and Spring Break just to make a little break. We also mark it as a make up day in case of snow. Bottom line is that we rarely get it, but when we do, it gives the kids and staff a three day weekend over that long haul. Also, the BOE has the ultimate control and can change as they see necessary. That, too, has happened.

Some of these "small schools" can be known to bring a large following to Frankfort even during regular school and work hours. Just so it is known, these aren't free days for schools. Schools are accountable for every minute of the school year. If a school dismisses class for the All A, that day gets made up just like a snow day. Last year schools were faced with big decisions because they had already missed so many days due to snow.

I'll take Bracken. They've got a better record with a tougher schedule. I don't think Harrison has an answer for BC.

Henry led the Mustangs with 41 points, a new school record. Dunaway led the Raiders with 19 points. Raiders were 17-20 from the FT line but had 24 TOs. North was 18-22 from the FT line with 9 TOs.

Final from Goshen. North gets their first win of the season. Also the Mustangs had 12 threes for the game.

Coaches have got to love it because most stipends don't begin to cover their time and costs.

This shouldn't sound like a dig against her. She hit a 3 at the end of the first half to pull TC within 1. That set the tone for a much improved 2nd half for the Lady Raiders and Kaylee obviously led the way. Trimble's D worked hard all night. Score at the half was 17-16, Assumption. Yes, the first half was that ugly.

8-16 at the line so she left some out there. They fouled the last half of the 4th and she went to the line often.

Last Trimble win against South Oldham was December 15, 2000 in Crestwood. This breaks a 20 game losing streak.

Final from Crestwood. Michael Dunaway led the Raiders with 33 points and 16 rebounds. Trent Bouvet 15 points, Grant Williams 11, Isaac Fields 10 for South Oldham.

Just an absolutely great game to watch. Both teams played extremely hard. It was the kind of game you'd expect between these two teams over the last few years. Getting to be a good rivalry. Gonterman showed signs of she has for TC and Bowen keeps the hot hand for GC. The usual suspects for both teams did their thing too.
