Owen girls had a game scheduled at home vs Beechwood. They likely cancelled that so the girls could attend the All A in Eminence.

I have combed Twitter and all of my usual sources for 8th region info mention nothing of this. Semis were played yesterday, I can't imagine finals couldn't be played today. The winning team will want two days of prep going into the All A state. I hope they get it. And as soon as I post I see another answer. Buttels took care of it. But I have been watching Twitter all day. I do follow Buttels on there also.

Trimble County did practice this week. I can't confirm how many days they did get to practice, but I think is was no less than two days.

Semifinals will be held Saturday. Owen vs Williamstown at 4 and game 2 at 6. Finals will be held Sunday at 4.

I haven't heard anything for sure, but I'm guessing they'll play semi-finals on Saturday and finals on Sunday like the girls did. The Saturday forecast doesn't look so good though.

I just received a Tweet saying tonight's games have been postponed. Games will be played Friday. Carroll/Gallatin and Trimble/Walton-Verona

I don't see how anyone could argue with that either. She put the team on her back in the biggest game of the tourney.

I have a daughter playing for Trimble County and TC has always had a good following for the girls team. We even travel pretty well for a small school. A few years ago we had an away game at a Louisville school and had about 3 times as many fans as the home team. The concession stand wasn't ready for us and sold out of everything really early. Seems like most teams in the NCKC have a good girls following. Maybe that's the exception. I haven't posted scores on here much. I do Twitter updates during games for both the girls and boys but rarely post scores on here. Maybe I should start.
