Carroll County won by 7, I believe.

Andrew Young and Evan Long lead the Raiders with 20 each.

 

Kyle Kinmon had 22 for WV.

Our Bearcats grew up a little bit tonight. Down double digits most of the 2nd half, they showed a lot of heart and battled back to send the game to O.T. Keep working hard and improving and the wins will come.

Great game tonight by both teams!! Thought both coaches did an excellent job having their teams prepared to play.

Did Trimble get to practice at all this week with school being closed. I think that Walton may have practice once but that was it.

Good luck to the Trimble and also to the Bearcats the rest of the season. Keep playing hard. Nice to see Kyle Kinmon have a good game.

Trimble County did practice this week. I can't confirm how many days they did get to practice, but I think is was no less than two days.

I agree 100%. Considering they had three players foul out made it that much more impressive that they were able to hang in there and have a chance in OT. Keep battling...it will pay off.

Two fairly evenly matched YOUNG teams, played hard, entertaining game. I do realize probably 10-15 of Trimble's FT's came at end of regulation & ot but 47-16 FT attempts hard to overcome in matchup of similar teams.

 

I think the WV kids are growing up, in every game, but with basically no varsity experience the kids just still get a little rattled at winning time. Last night got back in game by attacking the rim, but on a couple of key possessions in ot settled for long range jump shots. I know not showing in the Win column, but considering lack of experience & injuries, kids are battling hard.

 

Congrats & best of luck to Trimble Co., they play extremely hard, and have a legitimate shot at representing the 8th in All A state.

I'm not sure that knowing the fouls were 8-5 in the first half makes it any better since that makes it 24-11 fouls in the second half.
