Keeping a close eye on the Mustangs. Very impressed by what first year coach Rob Burton and his staff have done so far. Mustangs with really tough opening schedule, and they have been dealing with 1) several key football players that were still on the gridiron just a couple of weeks ago...and 2) some brand new basketballers who bring a lot of athleticism and size to the team, but no varsity experience. That adds up to a difficult December....but I was impressed at the way they battled Bullitt East in their opener. And sophomore Jalen Henry is one of the best young players in the 8th. North has a lot of growing to do....but this team has an awful lot of upside.

 

This is an impresive win over a very good Trimble County team.

Henry led the Mustangs with 41 points, a new school record. Dunaway led the Raiders with 19 points. Raiders were 17-20 from the FT line but had 24 TOs. North was 18-22 from the FT line with 9 TOs.

I agree Mike. That was an impressive showing by the Mustangs and Henry. Congrats to Rob Burton for the 1st of many more wins to come.
