Last Trimble win against South Oldham was December 15, 2000 in Crestwood. This breaks a 20 game losing streak.

Shocker! Congrats to Trimble County!

Not really a huge shock. Bob Lauster has a veteran, talented bunch in Bedford. They had a rough week last week against Owen and Oldham, but this team could be the one to take the Raiders back to New Castle. Very talented, very well-coached.

As for South ....don't cry too much for them. Steve Simpson will do what he's done the last two years - take a team that graduated practically everyone and build, build, build over the course of the season. The Dragons may or may not have enough talent to "three-peat" as region champs - they graduated every starter from last year - but they'll be vastly improved by season end.

Congrats to the Raiders on a nice win!

Johnny Leep may take offense to this. LOL

This was a very entertaining game to watch. Back and forth with several lead changes. Game could have gone either way.

Bob Lauster hasn't coached the Raiders in four years.

One of the more interesting box scores I've seen in a while. The home team carries a lead into the 4th and get boat-raced 22-7 in the final stanza? Wow. That would have been fun to see.

....and get boat-raced

Not exactly sure what this even means... never heard it used before.... but you better believe I'm gonna start using it!

I'd be curious to see what S.O.'s % from beyond the arc is.
