I agree with Bigzig on this one. Never said he wasn't fair. He is a decent official. His antics on the court are what bother me. He starves for the attention and getting to ref at state will do nothing but boost his ego a little more.

Oldham really struggled from the line. South did a good job converting their free throws. Especially late.

Roy Winchester Gymnasium. Thought the (Henry County) would have been sufficient. Thought everyone knew the name of the gym. My apologies.

South by 10. This will be South Oldham's 6th time playing at Winchester (Henry County) this year. They have not had a bad shooting night yet. Will be extremely tough for SK to beat them at their home away from home.

Very smart play by the kid on Collins who got the delay of game warning. Without that It would have been close of South would of had to inbound the ball. I believe they called the delay of game with 5.2 seconds. Without the whistle the game would have ended.

Best defensive team in the state last year. No slouch this year either. Good defense can make good offenses look bad.

This is a very nice all region team. I have no issues with any of the selections. I may swap a couple of guys around but that really doesn't matter. Congrats to these young men and to coach Glen Drury from Anderson Co.

Henry County has the pieces to get to the district championship and possibly upset Owen. First they have to get by Eminence which is a big rivalry game and Gallatin will be waiting. I picked Henry to make the region but they will have to play their best to do so. Look out for junior Jalen Dixie who is a very good scorer from Eminence. The reason I picked Oldham over North Oldham is that Oldham is hosting the districts and are very tough at home. Should be an exciting next couple of weeks for HS bball in the bluegrass leading up to State.
