  1. Final from SHA... Ballard 58 @ Sacred Heart 56 What was the recipe? Sure that PASS can shine some light on it.
  2. Wow! Didn't think it would be so close.... Any juicy "STATS" from this one???
  3. I was wondering who has the youngest shooters out there?... E-TOWN PG Warden Fr. SG Huff Jr. SF Boley. Soph. PF Bowling Jr. C Cleaver. Jr.
  4. It is a three head monster out in E-town, having such a major player in the paint like "SWEETS" (cleaver) Is the plus factor. As she goes the team goes....
  5. Elizabethtowns first home game is still on. vs Central Hardin
  6. Manual has only beat one team over .500 (North Hardin) no.9 maybe not. We need to do better than that for a top 10 squad.
  7. WOW!!! SHA is way low! They are at worst the 3 spot in Ky. Elizabethtown beats Anderson, goes out of state, looses to the no.1 and no.10 teams in the Country and Anderson is equal? How is that?, What are the monkeys in the room watching? Sure they have a 3pt loss to Mercy (at Mercy) on Dec. 17 and played them (Mercy) again Dec. 22 and DROPS 20pts on them... C'mon!!! Simon Kenton also very low considering that some people have them picked to win the 8th.
  8. Will there be any live streaming of this tourney? SHA plays at 930 Etown plays at 500
  9. Must say it will be a long quiet ride back to LEX. SHA by 15
  10. Depends on the "PROGRAM" or a "team".... My brother in Ocala, Fl. Has a little league baseball program that goes 3.5-4 hours a day three maybe four times a week until the season starts. They are number 2 in the nation. My high school football team has stopped a 2 hour practice early bc of parents, rain (no lighting), too cold or just not enough kids showed up to practice. Idk but I'm pretty sure that at the programs that are still playing are not crying and complaining and making excuses about PRACTICING IN NOVEMBER... Texas, in November, "YOU WIN OR GO PLAY BASKETBALL!!!" can't say that in Ky. Almost forgot my high school team was 1-21 the last two years, bottom of the barrel, we won 6 this year. Do what you have to, so you can enjoy what you want to!!! "CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!"
  11. Hands down SHA has the toughest by far in my my 13-14 Out of the 26 game schedule only 6 I would say that they should not have to many problems. And SHA is the no.1 team in Ky.
  12. Very solid team. The most impressive thing to me about SHA was their drive and determination. More than one player on the team had a very focused and business like attitude about them. Very scary team.
  13. Marion Co. went 39-0, while going 6 deep all year, of those 6, 4 graduated and went on to play d1 ball.
  14. The scrimmage from this summer showed several good match-ups...:thumb:
  15. I believe it is a really good thing for the ms to play up in all aspects of the game; as far as being a trainer, sitting the bench during the regular season, having a few minutes , or even being a significant roll player. Our program allows our student\athletes at the ms level play up if, and only if they (the ms) can keep their studies above our district avg. (82%) or up, and keep "clear conduct" of any infractions then it is possible for the ms to play up. It would seem that the state feels the same way about our STUDENT\ATHLETE bc they (the state) sure don't try to stop the "student" from taking AP classes and receive college credits right? Instead we incourage them to do it if they can, bc it is good for the students education and looks even better for the school and state. Pressure burst pipes!!! And any time you can relieve some pressure, like being in a big crowd or a hostel crowd early will help bc theres not that many surprises coming from all directions, guess that is why they allow early ACT test, right?
  16. No one plays volleyball, no one in the band and no soccer players. Everyone is accounted for and practice is in full swing. The ladies look like January.
  17. The "REAL DEAL" is the expression!!! very solid from top to bottom. Guard play has gotten a lot better with a lot of summer work, and a transfer from Al. 3-4-5 play will be tremendous, barring injury... The group of girls are a battle tested team that is hungry. Last year the were the only team in the state to have Marion Co. down at the half. (even though E-town did play them twice) The Lady Panthers lost (6)six seniors off of last years team, out of those six Sr. only one starter and one Sr. off the pine and she was a big part of the defensive attack. The rest of those starters were (2)two Soph. and (2)Frosh. This year, again (1)one Sr., she will start several games, may not contribute very many points, but she is a major roll player in the sense that she will be the only player on the team to be a part of a Regional Championship team. That is why I say this group of girls are so HUNGRY... As for being "battle tested", the Lady Panthers have won the 17th district every year since 2006, and the juniors and sophomores on this team have helped win the last (5)five in a row, plus while attending T.K. Stone Middle School the young ladies played against Southwestern Pulaski (a team that should be climbing to the top of their region the next few years) in the KBA Girls Middle School State Championship in 2010. This year will be a major gut check for my Lady Panthers, over the summer they showed well and the bench was able to come in and sustain the margin between the groups of chemistry Coach Mudd was trying out. The buzz in "PANTHER NATION" is "DIDDLE" or bust. With all of that being said I'd like to wish every team a "FUN","HEALTHY" and "COMPETITIVE" 13-14 season!!! GO PANTHERS!!! GO PATHER!!! GO PANTHERS!!!
