Final from SHA... Ballard 58 @ Sacred Heart 56

What was the recipe? Sure that PASS can shine some light on it.

Didn't want to comment of this one until some time passed. SHA did a good job of keeping out of foul trouble and ramping up the defensive pressure in the 3rd and 4th quarter to get the game close. Eventually SHA takes the lead by five deep into the 4th quarter only to let the game get away from them by committing unforced turnovers! UGGGG! With 1 minute remaining and up by 1 SHA playing in a controlled manner and taking air out of the ball commits the unforced turnover.

Ballard played a great game and took it to SHA early. There is lots of talent on the Bruin squad and they are a State contender. It's going to be a battle to get out of the 7th region this year. Coach Kline said it best, "This game didn't mean anything. The last laugh is the best laugh" Either one of these two teams can beat each other on any given night.

If the Valykries learn what it takes to win big games down the stretch then this was a good game. If not, SHA won't get the last laugh.

Is it true that Ballard played the game without one starter and a top reserve - both post players?

I give up. Did they?

According to my sister who has a daughter who cheers for Ballard, #33 Richards? hurt her knee and may have torn her ACL pending an MRI

But Ballard has an incredible freshman Patterson who can take up the slack
