The Valkyries travel to Northern Ky to take on the Panda's on Tuesday. Who wins this game and how does it play out?

I hope the Pandas win this one. This team is on the comeback after a slow start. Once they get all of their injured players back and ready to go in I think NDA gets back to its winning ways.

I'll go with SHA. I could be way off...and it wouldn't be the first time. Should be a great game though.

SHA could be too much for the short handed Pandas. Ogle and Henderson haven't played or practiced in months. Kellam looks out with the FLU. It could get ugly. I don't see any answer for Ruffin or MeriWeather on the NDA Side. Last Year NDA won without 2 starters. It was a shootout between Ruffin and Voskul each putting up 30+. NDA will have to slow it down to have a shot of winning again.

SHA will be looking for revenge as well. I think they are much stronger than the Pandas at this point in the season. I hope I am wrong but I doubt it.

I agree. I think it will be tough for the Pandas right now, but they should be completely back in the mix once they get healthy. I'd have to go with SHA in this one though.

SHA has two quality wins last week over Manual and Newport Central Catholic, so I hope they don't have a letdown. I think SHA should handle Notre Dame, but wouldn't be surprised if it is a close game. There aren't many teams that have an answer for Ruffin. The only thing that can stop her are foul trouble or herself. When this team is clicking on all cylinders like the last two games they will be tough to beat. As of now we have an outside game to go along with the inside game. Manual tried to defend the three point line, which left the paint open enough for Ruffin and Merriweather to score at will. I'll assume that ND will slow the game down and play a zone defense and pack it in the paint.

I wouldn't assume anything, this coach likes to run and press.

I hope they do because that plays right into SHA hands. Four of our starting five handle the ball very well and are fast and athletic.

NDA has three players to get back on the court. Henderson, Ogle & Schuh. Henderson's ankle was broken before the season started. Ogle suffered a bad sprain and Schuh has a broken finger. The team is getting experience on the floor as it seems this coach subs a lot. That is a good thing from my perspective

So passtheball if SHA is the best team in the state, which I won't argue, how do you figure a close game in this one?

For one ND always plays us tough because they are usually a disciplined team. We tend to score points on turnovers created by our pressing defense and ND typically doesn't turn it over as much as other teams. If we get in foul trouble, then the game will be close because we don't have a deep bench. We tend to have foul trouble when we travel outside of Louisville.

Should be a good game.

I just heard that Ogle will play tonight and Kellam went back to school today. Not sure on the other players but his will give NDA a punchers chance.

39-39 in the third
