WOW!!! SHA is way low! They are at worst the 3 spot in Ky.

Elizabethtown beats Anderson, goes out of state, looses to the no.1 and no.10 teams in the Country and Anderson is equal? How is that?, What are the monkeys in the room watching? Sure they have a 3pt loss to Mercy (at Mercy) on Dec. 17 and played them (Mercy) again Dec. 22 and DROPS 20pts on them... C'mon!!!

Simon Kenton also very low considering that some people have them picked to win the 8th.

I guess I agree with you on SHA. :)

SHA only in state loss is tight one to Glasgow at Glasgow. SHA did beat Montverde Academy when they were ranked 100 in the country at the Naples shootout over Christmas. SHA lost a close one to another top team by 4 points to Rogers HS out of Toledo Ohio. Both of these teams have multiple D1 candidates on their rosters.

SHA has a tough stretch coming up in the next two weeks that will tell us a lot about them.

1/10 Manual

1/11 Newport Central Cath

1/14 Notre Dame

1/16 Ballard

1/25 Anderson county

1/27 LIT

SHA could drop down into the 20's or move up to the top 5. I believe SHA has the toughest schedule in the State.

I say this every year but these are not someones opinion. These rankings are based on a mathematical formula using scores of games. Actually, I dont think that Cantrall uses out of state scores, but I could be wrong. Is there glaring issues? Of course! This is a formula that spits out a number for each team. This just gives you an idea of who the better teams are. I wouldn't get too caught up in the slot by slot rankings....but I guess it is kind of fun to debate.

Good point. Some coaches skew the formula when they play their bench against lesser competition and keep the score closer than it would be if they played the usual minutes for the starters.
