What funk are they in? It's all in match ups and learning how to beat teams that play a simple 2-3 zone. When SHA is matched up to a team with bigs and plays zone, it's given them problems every time.

 

Is the funk shooting? Well, most teams will have an off shooting night. The Assumption game was an anomaly. SHA is still shooting extremely well from the 3 point line for most of the year. The stats prove that out. The real issue I would raise is are we getting the best shot up on each possession? How hard are they working the ball against the zone to get the best shot?

 

I hope we are working on how to beat the different zones we will see going forward. Teams aren't going to just let Ruffin beat them on the inside. Much of the time she will have 2 or 3 players sag on her.
