Agree with you and Purple Adoptee. No one will say it, but I and many other JH fans consider the 2011 team to be the best and most explosive team we had. Only the Knights were even close to us before the BG game. That game still shocks me because of how talented we were.

I have always thought of you as an intelligent person Purple and this only furthers my belief because I think you are right on with your thinking.

Other than this year, they have had plenty of competition the last several years.

Bottom line, they beat you and they are the top seed in your district. What Meade did last year has no relevance on this year. It is obvious you hate Central Hardin and that is fine, but you might want to start worrying about your own matchups as I don't see you even making it far enough to play Central Hardin should they win their first two games.

I agree with this comment but I will say that Central Hardin is big and very athletic. I can see them beating Bryan Station but I just don't see them beating a very good Scott County team.

Bullitt East is the best team in Region 2 right now IMO. They will have a very tough game against JH and I think that game could go either way. Besides those two teams, Grayson County is the only other team I could see winning that region. Regardless, neither of those three teams can compete with BG nor anyone else for that matter in 5A.

They absolutely have a chance. But they have a very small margin of error. I think the offense BE runs will give them problems. BE will move the ball between the 20s but the key for JH will be to keep them out of the end zone like they did last year.

Exactly. John Hardin's Freshman QB is also the JV QB. He has had to start one varsity game. He also plays some defense and returns kickoffs on varsity. Don't like the rule at all.

I think you are correct except for Scott County. They seem to be pretty solid on defense and they have a very good offense.

At JH, the fans only blow the airhorns after we have scored a TD. I don't believe I have ever heard them during any other time during a game.

They are used all the time at John Hardin games. I love them.

Good to hear. I know this is a 6A thread, but I have been saying I think the John Hardin Freshman have the potential to be the most talented class (football wise) ever. What are your thoughts.

This is why you should be a John Hardin fan. We love the use of airhorns at the games.

Meade has a very good defense, but I am not sure about the best in the state. I am a believer in Central Hardin (at least for this year and next year) but if they want respect they are going to have to win some very tough games in the playoffs. I believe they have Meade, Scott County, Bryan Station, and Henry Clay on their side of the bracket so we will see how good they really are.

Purple88, I based it on their starting QB being injured plus I know they have a good defense. I am not sure any team other than BG, SW, BE and maybe WC would be able to beat them even with him hurt. But I guess time will tell.

You are right on with Bullitt Central. Very weak schedule and their one good win against Bullitt East was probably the result of the BE starting QB getting injured early in the game.

If nothing else, Pulaski should be #3.

I like Central Hardin but they are ranked too high. I would move them to number 6 as I think they are better than McCracken County.
