Does John Hardin have a chance against Bullitt East?

Featured Replies

John Hardin has definately improved from the start of the season. The offense looks more in sync and the defense has fewer breakdowns. As a longtime John fan, i can see them defeating Bullitt East with their speed and athletes on offense. If they can get past Bullitt East, they could possibly run into Bowling Green again, in what has become an annual Thanksgiving event.

They absolutely have a chance. But they have a very small margin of error. I think the offense BE runs will give them problems. BE will move the ball between the 20s but the key for JH will be to keep them out of the end zone like they did last year.

Really interested in this game (I may try to go), as I think the winner has a great chance to host BG for some turkey sandwiches the day after Thanksgiving :thumb:

East will be looking for some payback. Last year's playoff loss was a tough pill to swallow. Should be an exciting game.

Last years Bullitt East/ John Hardin game didn't end without some controversy as Matt Elam claims that as the game was in its final quarter a Bullitt East player commented that their season was over and now so is his, after targeting and injuring his knee, making him unavailable for the Semis last year at Bowling Green

I believe Elam was injured in the 3rd quarter. He was blocked about 6-7 yards downfield until he fell down; looked like he just twisted it wrong.

I'll believe someone can beat JH in the playoffs when someone actually does it. Until then, I expect to see the Bulldogs playing late in November.

It will be interesting to see how effective BE QB is after sitting out last week with an ankle sprain. We all know those sprains can be nagging injuries.
