No, honestly no sarcasm behind my statement at all. I hope Coach Schmitz can really turn Newport's program around so far he is doing a really good job.

First and foremost read my post!! I was addressing the post before me that was 6 paragraphs long about "Inner Schools" this and that. So NCC is NOT perfect and you don't see one person on here claiming they are do you? I simply stated I HOPE the issue was addressed by Newport because it WAS addressed by NCC. Have no worries I do take care of my own home and I don't have to tell anyone how to do their jobs my friend.

So pretty much what some people on here are saying is it's ok to behave like that on the football field or everyday life because they are inner city schools. But they are also 15-18 years old and should know how to act and conduct themselves properly on and off a football field. I can speak of NCC only by saying the personal fouls were addressed in practice on Saturday morning. I would hope the same thing for Newport.

NCC has def been in a few games with a lopsided scoreboard this season and it def is not any fun for the players or fans. Knowing the Breds will win big Thurs I'm sure we are all hoping everyone comes out of this game injury free. Hats off to Brossart and all they are trying to do with their program.

Hats off to the Breds!! They played and physical all night and came out victorious!! Who cares about all the garbage cry baby stuff just give Breds credit for keeping the bell where it belongs.

Smith went to Newport up to the 7th grade. He went to Holy Trinity his 8th grade year.

Ok, don't know that we were watching the same game, but when a team has over 10+ offsides penalties among other penalties and still wins the game I'm pretty sure they shot themselves in the foot. Back to the original thread!

Ummm I very easily can speak on it. Newport got crushed by Scott whom got crushed by Cooper so they wouldn't have beaten Cooper. SK is undefeated and has destroyed everyone in their path with the exception of Ryle. Newport would not have beaten CC not Dixie.

Upset, not at all! I have no doubt this will be a good game, I just believe NCC will win.

Williamsburg shot themselves in the foot with all of their offside penalties. WV rb didn't play the 2nd half, and Newport would have been destroyed as well!! But your right each to his own we will see Friday night.

I was responding to the post that NCC still has to prove themselves so again what has Newport proven nothing! They can beat weak teams, sorry but the reality is Newport would not have beaten a team that NCC played the first 4 wks. So again I will say NCC by 14.

I think it's hilarious how people on here saw NCC play once or twice or maybe three times and came to the conclusion that they were TERRIBLE!! It couldn't have been the size of the schools they were playing could it?? But yet, without seeing Lloyd play or even if they did some how came to the conclusion that Lloyd was some how better but yet again didn't take their schedule into consideration! Is there things NCC needs to work on absolutely will they get it together absolutely! NCC went to Erlanger and exposed Lloyd's weakness, and that was the strength of schedule was very weak. Without the turnovers this game very easily could have been a running clock glad it wasn't our boys have def been on the opposite side of a lopsided clock it's nothing good for the players or the fans. NCC isn't terrible and they are gonna be just fine, keep up the hard work Breds u have plenty of positive by standers rooting you guys on!!

There is definitely things NCC can work on, I agree the line just needs a little more work. But again, they were playing much bigger schools and they will not see that same size line in any district games. I'm sure 99.9% of us on here are parents and yes we are a little disappointed, but let's not forget when we are in the stands expressing our frustration we are in the stands among other parents not our kids. I know my son is frustrated but he also knows they were playing a much tougher schedule than any 2 A school in our district. Let's remain positive when we are discussing them, let them Know we are behind them. They are very smart young men, who will get it together but they need to know we know that. Opinions are valuable and they are yours to have but try wearing their shoes, if we know they are on here reading this we don't look any better than some other poster on here we all know. Good things will come to the Breds now that part of the suicidal schedule is over and then we can all see it paid off.

Who has Llyod played that has them in the top 15? SK, CC, Dixie and Cooper would have wiped the floor with them the same way they did NCC. I will take NCC by 2 TDS!

You obviously don't know LawnBoy to think he would say that because he is a NCC fan. He is one of those fans who speaks the truth whether it's good, bad or in between, so don't think he said that because he is NCC fan.

We all know you love SK but my God do you have to talk so bad about other teams to make your precious Pioneers look better when in reality they haven't played anyone yet? I hope one day your son doesn't grow up and have someone like his dad on here talking about him like you do every team in NKY!

I'm pretty sure onespiritedfan knew they lost, thanks for the elaboration. But again as was stated later on most of these boys have not plAyed one down with each other so please refrain from being so knowledgeable before knowing the whole story.

Do you for some reason think NCC is going to go in this game defeated and lay down for your precious Pioneers? If that's the case my friend you should probably re think that. I'm not saying NCC will win this game but don't be surprised if the point margin is a little closer than what you anticipate. For some reason you have this notion in your head that SK can't be beat when in reality if they are so good they don't have to travel south they can travel across the bridge like Cov Cath did and play a team like Moeller. You my friend are the main reason 98% of the people on here don't like SK because you build them up to be a powerhouse when in reality all they are is a 6A NKY powerhouse that will again most likely find a way to lose to a team their size come playoff time.

Well, I'm sure NCC parents have something to say about Coopers PARENTS singing the goodbye song to our team. It's wasn't a student section doing it, it was a bunch of parents.
