Ryle 50 Highlands 14
Oh crap, you almost got me lol, I even went back and was going to post you about a half dozen posts from HHS fans on here who were trashing their coaches etc. but I'm not going to play your game of calling people out with zero facts to back it up. I didn't talk about Ryle running the score up, I talked about how Highlands used to do just that and to simply own up to it. About cooper game, you can believe what you want and I will believe what I want. I never once said Highlands wasn't better than Cooper this year. What I said is Cooper had more to do with that loss than anything. If you saw the game you would know what I meant. I never said Cooper should have won. I never said Cooper was better. Actually I never said anything of the sort. What I said was what I said period, no need to try and spin it any other way. It wasn't an accident that Cooper was up 20-6 or something like that If the 2 teams were to play again I would put my money on the Jags. I think what beat the jags more than anything that night was the temperature period. Doesn't mean highlands wouldn't beat them if it wasn't as hot and humid as it was, just saying I wouldn't bet my house on it. If you'd still like me to stoop to your level and call out members on here on their posts about talking down about the HHS coaching staff etc. I will do it to prove to you we weren't making this stuff up. You just let me know.

49 Coaching Changes - Guess The Year
I think the_truth is correct and I would also say 97

Simon Kenton/Cooper Predictions
The line is totally re-hauled from last year. I'd give the advantage clearly to SK on both sides of the ball when it comes to the line. I would give Cooper the advantage in skill players but SK the advantage on the line.

My NKY Top Ten 9-11
I think this weeks game against CCH will answer a lot of questions about where BW should be in the rankings.

Running Up the Score
True, unless the losing team is like a Dayton and don't really have any 2's.

Ryle 50 Highlands 14
Not even close to a record. I made a post shortly after the game that this thread would be 20+ pages before the next game because it will be full of a couple HHS parents arguing over who should be playing line and letting us know how much the coaches stink and how things would be different if Dale were still the coach and how all the boys need to do is listen to the dads who used to play for HHS and that will inspire them to go on and win state this year, HHS state of affairs has nothing to do with other teams are just better but that the boys just need to believe and they will be unstoppable lol.

Is Defense a problem at Mayfield this year?
Hahahaha True Dat

Beechwood/Covington Catholic Predictions
The only way any of these teams goes to #1 would be if one of them was already #1 and neither are.

Beechwood/Covington Catholic Predictions
Mmmmm, I wouldn't think BW thinks of this game as their SuperBowl. I think they wait until the playoffs to think of a game as that important. This is nothing more than a rivalry game.

Is Defense a problem at Mayfield this year?
Why make a thread like that if you don't have a little reason to believe so? So you are thinking a legitimate question wold be "Do you think Ludlow could hang with the Denver Broncos?"

Is Defense a problem at Mayfield this year?
http://bluegrasspreps.com/ky-football-high/could-mayfield-hang-332790.html#post6034584 It's a thread asking that.

Is Defense a problem at Mayfield this year?
I'm really confused, first i read a thread about how Mayfield could give Trinity a game and then I see this thread. If their defense is struggling then not only could T and Male beat them but I would say they would also lose to SK, Ryle, Cooper too.

Running Up the Score
I think BG runs one of the classiest organizations in the state. I still think about what they did at the end of the state championship against Cooper. Very classy! Love them Purples.

Beechwood/Covington Catholic Predictions
This could be a lot closer than many CCH fans want to believe. After seeing the BW Franklin score, this BW team may be better than people are willing to admit.

Highlands/St. Xavier (Lou) Predictions
Well My Beechwood Tigers had a nice run for a bit but unfortunately they got their 1st the year after I graduated :(

Highlands/St. Xavier (Lou) Predictions
I'd take the SB ring lol. I don't think he is complaining.

Highlands/St. Xavier (Lou) Predictions
That is incredible!!!! Way to go Bluebirds! I was was thinking about that last year when Bo was a senior and realized his class may be the last to have a ring for a few years and he got it when he was a sophomore.

Running Up the Score
I personally don't care if anyone runs up the score. One of my favorite memories is the Bengals in the 80's against the Oilers when the Oilers ran up the score against the Bengals and then Sam Wyche returned the favor. I Loved it because it makes revenge so much sweeter.

Running Up the Score
Everyone has a definition to support their side. Mine is simple, I don't care if you have 7th stringers in, if the final score is 70-0 it's running the score up. My personal definition of it is if you have a running clock and still up by 34+ pts and in the 4th qtr and you are still passing then it's running the score up. Pretty simple to me.

Highlands 14 Ryle 7 (JV)
So if he is a lineman, why on earth is Highlands playing non linemen on the line if they have linemen who aren't playing at all? I thought that was talked about a week ago when discussing the platooning thing.

Again, I have zero problem with running the score up. The only time I would be bothered by it is when it happens to my team just like anyone would. It's just an ego thing is all. If a team can score 200 points, so be it. I just believe it shows more class about a coaching staff if they don't purposely try and embarrass their opponent.

Hey RC, take it as a badge of honor that people remember the beat downs Highkands would put on them years back and still bring up those beat downs today as some type of revenge factor. It speaks volumes for what a great program HHS had that people enjoy this much when they can beat HHS. Its a a good thing.

There are probably a dozen teams on the national poll today I have never heard of. So yes that is what I'm saying. Again if you think people actually care about the national polls. I could care less about them and the majority of people could care less about the USA today national polls. Again only those who are fans of a team listed in them could really care about them. You act like its something everyone ran to keep up with. Just isn't true.

Read my definition of what I consider running the score up. I've been in the sidelines during Coooer games when running clocks start and Borchers purposely preventing his team from scoring. I don't remember Dale ever doing that. Shoot I rememeber the state title game Cooper was in and down by only 14 and with a minute left in the game BG completes a deep pass to N Fant and he gets tackled on the 3 yard line, the next play BG takes a knee when they could have easily tried to score. That shown a ton of class for a classy program. Would Dale of done that? Doubt it. It wasn't in his blood imo and again, I wouldn't have a problem with it if they did score another TD. It is what it is but to answer your question, go read my definition of what I think running the score up is.
