Am I missing something. No one mention Mitchell Jones from Highlands. SO with a great fastball. Above average as a freshman last year. Throws 80+ and has a great future in the sport. Will lead the birds again this year on the mound.

Have to commend the Bluebirds, its early in the season, still have there football legs and they kept the game close until the end. Strippers will allways be blamed when its a big game and one team wins by one.

Life long Kentucky fan until Barnhorst, Calipari era. Sitting here watch Kentucky/Samford wondering why anyone would buy a ticket. Samford has give them a game until the depth of the Wildcats. Point being, last years team jelled and this years team a a long way to go. Top 25 out of the question. Doesn't look like Calipari will make it to the NBA draft spot light this year. My heart goes out to the true Kentucky fans as we lost a Fab 5 member this week with the passing of John Creigler. That team started the tridition that is lost today.

Do we really need a stadium that seats 65-70,000 to watch a high school football game? Also in the Southwest part of the State? Toppers did an excellent job as playing host, I just staying that the travel time for most teams is out of the question. Did anyone ask about Georgetown College, right in the middle of the state.

Highlands has won many Championships. I am NOT a expert to say the least about Bluebird football. To say who is best is very hard. From my standpoint, age included, I would have to list the top 5:

Wouldn't it be nice if three of our teams could play on the same day in Bowling Green. Turnout would improve greatly, each school supporting the others. Indian summer day to enjoy high school football. Wishful thinking?

I heard the BS for many years and only the people without law enforcement backround want to continue with this policy. If I'm not mistaking, Campbell Co. is the only Sheriff's department in Kentucky that has this response when it comes to qualifications. WHY would you NOT want someone with a law enforcement backround? Democratic party went with a professional politician for years that hasn't had much sucess at anything except drawing a paycheck. Republicans ran someone who has been in the party many years as a elected constable that not allow to carry a gun. Its my understanding that they turndown two quality law enforcement canidates from their party. I don't know much about the NKU student that running against these two, but he has to have more going for him than these two canidates. At least he has the same law enforcement backround.

You think UK (Barnhorst) is worried about NCAA regulations when he hired Cry Baby Calipari. It's only a matter of time until he's caught with his fingers in the cookie jar.
