It is a "freshman "tournament, so all Freshman are eligible.......unlike the JV tourney where teams bring down varsity players that play significant minutes....

So with the complaints we have about the ref's making judgement calls that happen on the pitch in front of them, we now want them to make decision whether the lightning they see if far enough away to keep playing? Lightning is lightning. Stop play.

I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding.....those things happen I remember reading lips from the stands at a Red's baseball game between an Ump and a Coach. As far as I could tell from reading lips, the Coach wanted to take the ump to "Fudruckers" and the apparently the Ump didn't like the place. "You go to "Fudruckers" was the Ump's reply, etc............... Tough getting tossed out over dinner plans.

I thought that the score this year was to be kept on the scoreboard. How is Pendery being used if there is no scoreboard?

Unfortunately it may be an uphill climb for the Eagles....on the score board yes, but a lot of teams still hold very close in their memories the situations in the past few years when they either: began taking (what could be deemed as cheap) shots, kept their super stars in to pad stats and run up the score, etc.......Even though they have new coaches ad players, they may have to take some lumps...... Good luck to them and all teams trying to teach and play the game the right way.

I hear ya and with the past comments can see why it may be seen as that, but not guilty this time. Was just trying to see if it was one of the new ones enforcing the rules as is, vs with some discretion as experience sometimes provides....

As a old time NKY soccer guy.......I'm lovin' this ! Back in the day, we would be talking about not losing to Trinity and the Louisville teams by more than 2 or 3. Tying Trinity was the world championship. I feel a change in the environment.

That ranking at this point really reflects what was done last year and "potential." I don't put too much stock in early rankings, although it is nice to see a teams name mentioned. It is very good to hear the statements about the need for improvements or areas to work on . If either team was saying they are ready after the first game, then no where to go but down.

OldGrap.....It is only Tuesday. If the game occurred over the weekend, you won't hear about the real pulled muscles until 3 or 4 days after. Takes a while for the numbness to go away in us old guys.
