I believe that is happening in the post about CCH vs New Hardin and the other game posts....... and talk about the All Region/State/Torunament teams and how they are/aren't picked is happening in the thread about the All Region/State/Tournament teams....... So you have an issue with people staying on topic.......

So you can't support the team AND make a comment on the ranking system.... I'll remember that in the future because I am in agreement on the politicizing of the "All" teams.......participation medals for all.....

Seriously? One person posts a compliment on how Schneider is one of the better players he has seen on any team, including a top Ohio team....AFTER two NON CCH posters say they have issues with him not being named and suddenly the "Cov Cath faithful" takes a shot.

I read it as quotes from a,coach not used to losing......not one mention of credit for playing and losing to a better team......at least on that night.

In "politicizing" or "watering down" the list , it affects the list of those chosen in the past. Not every school will be, or should be represented if you only look at the skills of the players. There are some teams where the best players would not even see the field on other teams. Two words......participation trophies. At some point, it ends.

Seems like Calvary Christian or Holmes' Coaches would also have been a very good choice....

The Coach of the Year decision is the one that puzzles me...... Can someone give me some stats on the HHS coach? Help me understand. Yes, I'm looking at the CCH Coach. I know he won it last year, but after losing 18 seniors (8/9 starters), he brought the team back to the level it was......

For those traveling up to the game, be careful as you get close to the I75/275 split. The lanes split and there is frequent stop and go traffic. Also, Dixie is very close to several fast food restaurants and you travel past the Crestview Town Center which has several sit down restaurants. Safe travels to and from.

Like I said....depends on the region.....in this example, during that time, how many other "regions" would St X have easily won......

Of course it depends on the Region......Seems harder these days than it was in the past. CCH has done it: 84, 85, 86, 87 91, 92 97, 98, 99, 2000, 01 2015 -2016 My numbers didn't go earlier...

Here is a thought and possibly a reason to examine who makes the regionals (if you truly want the best teams in the field.) With what happened last night, you could define St. X and Beechwood (truly, no offense) as being at the same level. Both are second seeds coming out of their regions........If KHSAA could agree on a ranking system that is consistent, maybe the top 64 teams (or whatever number) should go......
