As a point of reference, the all region team mentioned in this thread is actually like an All Northern KY team. There are kids from the 8th, 9th and 10th on it, I am working to get the entire list together.

Cole's omission from this list is puzzling to me, this also got me looking a little closer at the entire list. It seems a little strange for this team to have a few players on the first team but no other players at any position on the 2nd, 3rd or HM teams. IMO, I can think of a couple CCH players that should have also been selected, it makes me wonder if there were only 3 players nominated.

Totally agree. This list generally does not represent all the best players. Not saying a great player from a horrible team shouldn't make list, but it should be rare. Having players from those teams every year diminishes the award.
